It's been a long time since I've been to the site, but why does the top google search for Tokyo Tosho say: "This domain name has been seized by ICE - Homeland Security Investigations."? Isn't that an immigration thing?
Was gonna pick up a few random episodes of some stuff, but I can't say that didn't make me wary.

Their April Fools joke (for the past few years actually) is that they've been shut down due to whatever by the federal government. They post a jpg from whatever and they change around their website so that it says they've been shutdown but the url always says 'april fools'. Seems like google hasn't updated or whatever. Website still works.

I made a post about Dog Days: http://avvesione.wordpress.com/2011/04/02/dog-days-1/

Goes into a lot more depth than my earlier post. I put in more example about what I liked (and not all of it is about tails and ears and stuff either!) and what to maybe expect from the series. Has anyone else seen it yet? Ker posted his thoughts but anyone like Gulk out there see it yet? It's a nice, light-hearted series that's sorta refreshing from all the other darker/gloomy animes out there (which seem to be popular with the non-moe/non-ecchi crowd).

    I have two different perspectives.

One is that it stays just as lighthearted as it is in the first episode for the entire series and becomes an enjoyable comedy action show.

Second is that we get a twist and it, somewhat like the Nanoha series (the same staff are directing Dog Days) we end up with some dark, serious undertones before it's all said and done.

Either is fine with me. It doesn't have a lot of room for error, though.

    Star Driver EP 25

Lets get the good parts over, one most awesome action packed episode ever. my jaw literary dropped. the animation was stunning and I felt I was watching a movie than TV series.
    http://i54.tinypic.com/a019z.jpg

The bad? I didn't like the ending and No epilogue? Really. Bones?

    Edit

    Hanasaku Iroha Ep1

That was great first episode. good humor and drama to introduce our main characters. Plus, it's actually got male characters, even if they're secondary so far? also the Animation was beautiful and the atmosphere got a heartwarming feel to it. I wasn't bothered by the cute stuff and it seems romance will play a factor in the story later on.

Minor complain. the characters act way too goofy at times and the plot is cliche.

    Edit 2
    Steins;Gate Ep 1 Preview

underwhelming preview . I mean the voice work for most part was excellent and the story seems to be heading into a big mystery with time travel device. the problem is the animation, it wasn't anything special and the countless still frames, got on my nerves. also the pacing/direction was horrible and all over the place.

Oh god lol, it's a Takuto x Sugata ending after all

And is it just me or is the whole ending sequence reminiscent of Xenogears'?

    Rejoice, track 17!

Also, the last minute and a half of Daten City (TV) is exactly what I was looking for in the original OST. I am satisfied.

Wow, last episode of Star Driver was awesome. No epilogue was kind of weird though, maybe it will be on the DVD/BD?

The finale for Star Driver was amazing. It was one of the best endings I can think of recent memory even with the lack of epilouge. Maybe we'll get a 26th episode on the DVD/BD with some conclusions? One can only hope.

Bakuman was awesome this season. I fear that it was starting to get a little stagnant toward the end though. It was basically the same scenario over and over again. I don't see how they're gonna make it through another entire season- it's not exactly the type of show that you can just add in whatever you want. None of the conflicts the characters face are different enough from each other, so it feels like nothing has really happened.

I was happy with the Steins;Gate webcast. I'll rewatch it once it's released on TV in HD but for now, it gave us a pretty good idea of what to expect. The animation didn't bother me really at all but maybe because it's not as big a deal to me as it is to some. The story was the main feature and has presented itself well in, although some parts seemed rushed (at least in the beginning) but that's probably because they wanted it to finish the first episode with that scene at the end. I love the main character. He's something else entirely.

Star Driver #25: Anyone think we will see another season? Most issues were solved, but we still know nothing about the origins of Cybodies (other than what was said by the theater club girl) and a lot was left unanswered. Other than that, it was a good ending. Nothing unexpected, but badass enough to end the show on a good note.

Fractale 11: Same complain as always...11 episode was simply not enough to tell that story. It wasnt bad, and I liked what they tried to do, but everything about it feel rushed. There was too many coincidences, too many omited transition scenes, and too many characters (especially villains) weren't properly developped. I don't regret watching it at all, but it didnt live up to my expectation.

Stein;gate 01: Great main character, and great first episode imo. I've no idea where they are going with the story, but I found the suspense mixed with the main character's delusion to be very interesting. I will definitively stick around for the whole series if the first episodes was an indication of what is coming.

Hanasaku Irona 01: I wanted to watch this show since I've seen it on the chart, and it delivered. The animation is great, and the writing so far is excellent (and by excellent, I mean on par with rare gem like Honey and clover). Again, I'm not exactly sure where they are going with this (slice of life? coming of age?), but count me in either way. It should deliver.

Fractale 11 was pretty bad, a lot of the damn thing isn't explained enough to begin with, I'll let the whole system slide and all, but seriously, how does a raped 16 year old being regressed into 10 year old mind somehow become a template for a fucking proto-civilization's god of that world?

I mean at least QB's loli misery = energy at least have a somewhat logical reasoning behind it

You had a nice run Yamakan, but your magnum opus failed, you won't be missed as an anime director if you actually kept your word and get out of anime if Fractale failed.

Believe me, the only reason I watch that shit is because Madoka isn't on :/

Anyway, here is a random Madoka flash game to play while lamenting
