Well, I was hoping there wouldn't be any fanservice in this show since it'll probably get some negative press now. Guess I won't be able to convince my friends to watch it now either

The fanservice wasn't really bad. the problem it's hard to take anything seriously, when there is no real threat to engage the viewers, but the action was decent in this episode.

Things I'm probably going to watch: Star Driver, Gosick, Infinite Stratos, Yumekui Merry, Freezing, Onii-chan no blahblah, Mitsudomoe Zouryouchuu, Dragon Crisis, Korean zombie desk car, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica

Things I don't know anything about: Fractale, Rio-Rainbow Gate, Beelzebub, Level E

Things I probably won't watch unless someone tells me to otherwise: Hourou Musuko, Suite PreCure, Mai no mahou to katei no hi

Any opinions/input would be nice. :3

The MBS television station in the Kansai area will run the 11th and 12th episodes back-to-back on Thursday, April 21 at 26:40 (effectively Friday, April 22 at 2:40 a.m.) The TBS television station in Tokyo's Kanto area will run the 10th, 11th, and 12th episodes on Thursday, April 21 at 27:00 (Friday, April 22 at 3:00 a.m.) TBS had preempted its airing of the 10th episode due to its news coverage of the earthquake. Things I don't know anything about: Fractale, Rio-Rainbow Gate, Beelzebub, Level E

Fractale is disappointing, Rio is lolfanservice, Beelzebub is a waste of Sawashiro Miyuki, Level E seem decent, but I don't watch it out of principle since I fucking loathe the author.

Stardriver is great, Madoka is great
I didn't hate fractale, but it didnt deliver its promise. The series felt rushed, and the plot wasnt fleshed as well as it should have been
Level E is weird and random, but I enjoyed it. Worth of shot imo.

Stardriver starts out pretty badly, but you'll be hooked before you know it. Go in for shiny animation eye candy, cause it delivers that nearly every episode.

Also, I want all the insert songs, monochrome alone isn't enough.

hilarious. great sketch comedy and just the right level of insanity. I hope they can keep the momentum. I had a good time and will continue watching.

Lotte no Omocha! Ep1

Another show I knew I wouldn't like. ignoring it's content. this one most uninspiring and boring shows this season. You'd think with Shaft Staff we would get some strong dialogue and humor. beside the countless still frames and repeated animation. also what I read from various blogs This isn't going to be like the manga, and many are pissed. calling it a failed adaptation already.

It may improve in second episode but I'm not going to find out.

I don't usually care for drama animes but Hourou Musuko (Wandering Son) has become one of my favorites. It was the third best show I watched this winter behind Madoka and Star Driver (and it was ahead of Star Driver until I watched episode 25). The tension and development are all layered extremely well creating an engaging atmosphere. And the series also manipulates the tension into a bunch of hilarious scenes as well. If you like drama, then it's a must. If you it's not really your cup of tea, try it for one episode and see if it can hook you or not.
