I don't hate bleach for it's voice acting I hate it because Viz refuses to use the original ways that the characters address each other. I don't mind not using honorifics (Which VIZ seems to neglect in their manga as well) but at least have Orihime refer to Ichigo as Kurosaki.

Maybe. Rumors are that they're going to hire a new composer and do the Buu saga later.

If not, yes, it's over.

The composer plagiarized from some movies in his OST, so they canned him 2 episodes before it ended.

So you have original DB music in the last two episodes.

It's really annoying when you get a dual audio release that sets English as the default track. I usually end up firing up mkvmerge GUI and deleting the extra streams. Cuts down on file size, too.

Not sure about you, but I don't know many friends who go around commonly calling each other by their last name. So, on some level, I can easily see that going poof along with the honorifics while still getting the point across with no real loss.

Great first episode! Very simple storyline here, characters were interesting and likable. Looks like this series will be an emotional ride if they balance the structure a little more. *Fingers crossed* it can continue to deliver.

Oh Lord. so bad that it literally hurts. incoherent mess that failed to develop its characters or even try. also it was incredibly predictable. Everything that happens could be guessed a mile away, there are no surprises. if I have anything good to say it's not as bad as Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai (Ugh).

Aria the Scarlet Ammo Ep1

My my where to start. Completely unambitious,and plot induced stupidity. it’s nothing but mere cliches for the Oraku crowed. like how the characters all one-sided cliches, fanservice material and just about everything about this show screams “been there, done that”. The animation wasn't anything special with overused CG.

Anything good about the show? surprisingly. Aria's voice isn't drilling into my brain like Dragon Crisis and the Male protagonist is actually decent.

So in short. it's insanely derivative, but I will watch it. I'd rather watch a bad show by J.C.STAFF than Dogakobo or XEBEC.

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko Ep 1

That was really amusing. I didn't know what to expect with this one and I was pleasantly surprised. The animation was typical shaft(lousy budget savings shit) but had some beautiful animation near the end. the jokes were a hit and miss. definitely a must watch for Shaft fans.

I have yet to see AnoHana but that review looks promising.

Denpa Onna wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be and seems intriguing. The ending was really beautiful and I don't hate the male lead as much as I thought I would. Just need to watch it subbed...

Hidan no Aria wasn't as bad as I thought, either, but it isn't going to be a show that I'm watching. It's just not the kinda show I like.

I just realized how busy my Thursdays will be. C, AnoHana, Maria Holic Alive, and most likely Denpa Onna.

^, I believe Haali Media Splitter even lets you set preferred lists of audio and subtitle combinations like first japanese audio, english subtitle, then english audio, no subtitle

This season is looking great so far, especially for drama fan.

I just watched AnoHana, and it ended up being better than I expected. I was worried in the first 5 minutes, because it wasnt exactly what I wanted to see, but the rest completely made up for that.

I thought Hanasaku Iroha would be my #1 this season, but with Anohana...I'm not sure anymore. Either way, I'm happy with both, it's the kind of series I want to see.

C was also pretty decent. I can't say I'm digging the fight in the financial district so far, but it was still well done, and the characters were interesting enough to keep going.

Watched denpa onna, seem to have potential, and it's shaft so I'll be sure to follow it, since every fucking time I thought shit they did was lame, I tend to end up eating my words later.

Hana Saku Iroha is turning out better than I expected it to be, though Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai seem to fall short despite it being Navel's supposed magnum opus.

Stein's gate is getting somewhat interesting, though I got a feeling I'd just be picking up the PSP game later if I want to enjoy it.
