I really appreciate any opinions, it's hard to narrow down my choices, thanks in advance guys.
I would "*" Stein gate and C, and add Tiger and Bunny as well. Ano hana is my favorite this season, but these 3 rank pretty high.

Hanasaku isnt bad, and I'm sure you will like it, but holy crap does it pisses me off. What could have been a great coming of age and drama ended up being a generic slice of life/comedy. It's not a terrible, but I expected much more after the first 2 episode.

Arakawa was fine, but I got bored of it....I will finish this series later.
Fractale was a bit of a letdown but my expectation were very high. Still worth watching imo since it's very short (11ep)

Stein's gate is just some really boring chuuni shit, unless you really like Mamoru Miyano's voice trying so hard to be Zero, I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone.

Nichijou is pretty funny and weird in a semi-surreal way.
Hanasaku is charming and a nice watch, a little weird though.
Denpa is cute, actually I think it tries TOO hard to be cute and not hard enough to be funny or meaningful, but it's the usual Shaft affair and it's nice to watch.
AnoHana is my favourite so far, nothing spectacular in the drama department, but it's damn good.
    Nice trolling bro

Denpa was terrible, but then, I dropped it after the first episode so maybe it pick up. Nichijou is one of the few slice of life comedy that I can stand. I'm loving it so far.

it's the other way around for me, then again, i watched episode 1 of nichijou with every intent to hate it for being another slice of life shit by kyoani.

It's not slice of life though..

It's a gag manga, like Cromartie High School.

I'm really loving Ano Hi Mita. If you enjoyed Toradora you'd probably like it as well. Hanasaku would probably be my 2nd pick from that list.

Thanks for all the replies so far, definitely going to add Ano Hi Mita, Fireball (since it's so short, just realized episodes are like 50 MB), C, Nichijou and Denpa. Nobody mentioned Maria Holic or Deadman Wonderland? Deadman could just be bad, but is Maria Holic also a disappointment?

Personally I thought Nichijou bored me to death. I thought Maria Holic was a little disappointing too (just more of the same as before, same jokes etc).

    I liked Hanasaku Iroha and Steins;gate ;o

Unfortunately I don't remember what shows you like, so I can't give you recommendations based on your past opinions but I'll give you a rundown of what I like. C, Steins;Gate, Tiger&Bunny, Hanasaku, AnoHana have been my favorites this season but those have all been mentioned thus far. I'll try to focus on the others.

Maria Holic Alive has been good but not as great as the first season. There are some pretty good moments, though, and I like it, as a comedy, more than Nichijou (probably because Shaft > KyoAni). I don't know if you'll wanna watch a comedy on a flight because you'll be laughing at irregular intervals and might piss some people off (that kinda stuff pisses me off on flights).

Ao no Exorcist has been worthwhile, a good mix of action and comedy from a popular shounen title. I don't particularly like shounen anime all that much but it's watchable.

Deadman Wonderland has been a disappointment, I just don't find anything believable or entertaining. It's another popular shounen anime but I just don't like where the story is going so far or any of the characters. Makes it tough for me to watch but if you like senseless (and censored) gore and shounen-style superpowers, you should watch it.

I'm not watching Astarotte no Omocha! but it looks cute and I might pick it up depending on how the story goes.

As for flight material, you may wanna stick with something more serious with some elements of comedy. You'll be able to fit Fireball Charming in with any combination, but of the 24-minute shows, AnoHana and Tiger&Bunny would be the 2 I recommend. I would be shocked if you were disappointed with either.

Okay Tiger & Bunny and Steins'Gate may make replace ones earlier since they've been mentioned a few times now also. Thanks.

As for my taste I guess I should have linked my MAL..here it is.

Maria+Holic this season is more shaft trolling than usual, I personally love it, but that doesn't seem like the general consensus.

Not trolling at all, but I do remember you can't handle differing opinions very well.
Just can't see how anyone could downplay Denpa Onna as "not that funny" by contrasting it to Nichijou of all anime, but whatever, I don't watch enough of Nichijou to really know anything past ep 1, so for all I know there are giant robots making fart jokes in episode 2 and that would have made it fucking hilarious.

I'd like Stein's Gate more if Okarin was a more likable character, but watching a grown man acting like kid with his fantasy/paranoia world is kinda sad more than anything else. Also the plot is moving at molasses' pace, but I haven't watched the last episode, so that shit may turn the series upside down?

I'm not sure why I enjoy Dog Days, but I do.

I'm starting to get that feel like it's going to get really heavy and serious later on.

I wasn't comparing it to Nichijou at all. I think you're reading more into those comments than you need to be.

I don't like Denpa Oona either. I wouldn't watch either Nichijou or Denpa. Out of all the comedies I just stick with Maria Holic (even though it wasn't as good as the first season imo).

I wasn't thrilled by Ano Hana at first, but it's growing on me. I think it's worth a watch.

my level of shaft corruption must have really increased over the past few years, else there is no reason I would be liking Maria+Holic since it's essentially Negima!? level of series trolling, and I fucking hated Negima!?

I do wish it'd go back to having some semblance of plot like s1 did, god forbid they'd pick up after the intentional troll cliffhanger on s1's ending, but really after 4 fucking episode of OP trolling, I doubt the series will be anything but gag.

I'm watching both Denpa (Meme-san is awesome) and Nichijou (some crazy funny stuff at unexpected times). Not watching Maria S2 anymore since SHAFT is just messing around instead of advancing plot.

AnoHana and Hanasaka Iroha are my only 2 must watch this season, but I like dramas. Ao no Exorcist and Lotte no Omocha are also a lot better than I thought they would be.

Nichijou 6 had me rolling on the floor. That episode just wouldn't let up and way beyond random.
