In other news there are now only two worthwhile subbing groups doing Code Geass instead of 3 (menclave/shinsen/eclipse).

And no, it's not because one of them dropped the project.

The Shishen sub really aren't bad. The Menclave are better, but they're slow as shit and really not worth all the wait.

Did anyone else catch the new anime Gonzo is simulcasting with Japan? The Tower of Druaga? Oh man, the first episode was just hilarious, and the subtitles were actually really good.

True enough, problem is I enjoy all 4 shows they did so it seemed slow except for Clannad, their main show last season I suppose. Glad that Hayate is finally getting finished.

I started watching Shigofumi more seriously after episode one and I'm getting pretty hooked, I'm already on episode seven. Kinda sad its only got 12 episodes though..

Also has anyone seen Kaiji 25 yet? It's been like two fucking weeks and I can't find it subbed..

Mm. I'm loving the OP so much I got it on Stepmania but the bastard who made it made Heavy insanely tough (Heavy 10 wtf?) I also went ahead and got the 2nd OP/ED of Gundam 00 even though I didn't like the series too much , but I really enjoy the OP/ED's of Gundam 00. I got the new D.Gray-Man OP as well even though I can't see what the hell is going on in the back...

And speaking of new OP/ED did anyone see the new Shippuuden ones? I miss "you are my friend" ... Oh and if they put more filler like I feel they are I'm quitting naruto anime.

looks that way since they're already showing characters i dont recognize from the manga in the new opening/the end of 54. i cant believe they are doing that after airing SEASONS worth of filler garbage not too far in the past. hopefully the'll do it a little more tastefully this time around, but i doubt it.

Preview for Episode 55 wasn't filler, the very end of 54 looked like it though. I think the new characters in the OP/ED are movie characters, they have done that before - so has Bleach.

The manga is only about 80 chapters ahead, thats only about 35-40 episodes. I think they would rather avoid doing nearly 2 years of filler again and just put in a filler arc here and there.

As far as the Naruto thing goes.. Yeah I didn't recognize who the two "ninja" were in episode 54. I can't say its filler yet judging by the next preview since that happens in the manga also. I was thinking they were going to play a slightly filler element to the segment where Kakuzu and Hidan appear and collect bounties just like they did in Bleach with the Forest of Menos crap...Not sure yet though. xD

Edit: Woo I'm totally getting sucked into watching anime today. I just did Shigo 2-10 and I'm gonna finish 11 and 12 right now. I haven't gotten this hooked since Lucky Star/Tengen Toppa.
