Where are you finding most the new Anime? Animesuki seems to be behind on the torrents. Saw Code Geass and definitely not a let down hope it keeps up.

Just found this out today about Newtype and an announcement.

The May issue (on sale on April 10) of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype magazine will officially anounce that an Eureka Seven movie has been greenlit for production. Director Tomoki Kyoda (RahXephon movie), character designer Kenichi Yoshida (Overman King Gainer), and special effects director Yasushi Muraki (Ah! My Goddess: The Movie, The Skull Man) will reportedly return to animate with new mechanical designs, as well as a new form of storytelling that differs how the BONES anime studio produced the RahXephon movie. Although the creators are promising a new Eureka Seven "mythos," it will still feature the Renton and Eureka characters that starred in the original television version. Bandai Entertainment released both the original anime television series and the manga spinoff in North America. The Adult Swim television network ran the program in the United States.

is it normal for torrent programs to practically shut down all other internet based activity? it's not that it's sucking up all the bandwidth either, i could be downloading at 300 kB/s or 12 kB/s and it'll lock down browsing for anyone connected to my router. is there any way to fix this? i'm having trouble finding a solution if there even is one.

It's normal. Azureus is especially good at it. not sure of a fix tho.

I think it has to do with the number of total connections you're making. Try to lower the number.

I think it has to do with the number of total connections you're making. Try to lower the number.

Windows XP Limits "total" connetions at any one time to 10, Vista probably has some limit also, there are ways to open up more though

Just finished Bamboo Blade and it was a really nice series except for Dan becoming team captain... wtf at that? - - ' I'm looking foward to the next season seeing as how they leave you with the mysterious chick at the end. : p And one final thing that I didn't get was how Tama used a Tsuki to beat Rin in the tournament but wasn't she banned from using those in Tournaments against High Schoolers?

On a side note I went back to Gundam 00 after rewatching episode 1 and 2 with a friend. : x

I think the ban was a personal thing, not limited to tournaments of any kind. That and I just think it's really fucking hard to score a clean point with tsuki when everything else is safer.

But tsuki looks like it really fucking hurts. Also, I do wonder how Dan became team captain, should have been Yuji.

I finished watching Baccano! last night and thought it was really really good. I have a few questions though so there may be spoilers below




Vino the assassin who was the conductor, which family sent him on the train and what was his purpose there, did he know the black suits would be on the train?

What happened to Nice and Jacuzzi, it was said that Jacuzzi had a tattoo on his face but it kinda looked more like a birth mark/burn or something, pretty weird sword if it actually was a tattoo. Also did Nice have burn marks over her body? Would make sense since she seems to play with bombs.

Was Huey a original immortal?


Are there any other anime similar to this where there are a lot of interesting characters and intertwining stories with decent action/comedy/story?

Huey was an immortal like Czes or Maiza, if that's what you mean by original.

Not sure why Vino was on the train (apart from just being a conductor, which he seemed to enjoy based on his reaction to Tony's death), but he had strong ties with the Gandor family so they might have sent him to do stuff in another city and he was on the way back. I don't think he knew about the white or black suits, but once they started killing people he took it upon himself to fuck everyone up.

Nice looked like she had burns on her, though it could have been a tatoo that she got along with Jacuzzi.

Can't say I remember a story like this, but the closest thing that comes to mind is Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (Kai). As far as anime goes, I'd say Baccano! was pretty unique.
