Me and my friends were sitting around talking one time about this. I said something like.. "What does a guy like Brad Pitt have that we don't?" the answer was "about a foot in height".

That realization was the second most depressing moment in my life.

Trying to compare yourself (anyone doing this) to Brad Pitt is going to be a very, very, very depressing conversation. On top of height, hes naturally good looking w/ strong features, famous around the world, increadibly wealthy, etc.

Most people don't start out w/ money and fame, but height is only part of the equation, with natural good looks being the other.

I'm 6'3-6'4. Like maguspk said, height isn't everything. That said, most girls definitely still show a preference for taller guys.

Think of it this way: most girls want a guy that's taller than them. The shorter you are, the larger the demographic that you're missing out on. It's also probably a bit of the "Knight in Shining Armour" image.

Yeah, it doesn't matter much at all to guys. It's only a problem if it makes it awkward to kiss. That being said, it's not unheard of (I think I remember my mom telling me one of my great uncles was 6'6" and his wife was 5'0 or something).
