It's absolutely fair you call me on that, and I won't deny the partial hypocrisy on the matter. Just I get so goddamned infuriated with the incessant bs our domestic manufacturers take while the foreign competition gets a free ride, even when domestic brands out-do, out-perform, and/or out-mpg. This kind of stuff never hits our news.

And I get disgusted everytime I see a Toyota-built car/truck/suv on the road because they've gotten more free press than anyone.

Believe it or not....some people could give 2 shits about any of that crap you just listed. My g/f saw the TC and said, "wow that's a cool fucking car I'm going to buy it when I sell my old car".

Not sure I can think of an American Car that can outperform a fully loaded TC. I'm coming up with a Pontiac G5, Ford Focus, and Chevy Cobalt off the top of my head. The G5 is ok performance wise, but it looks nothing like the ScionTC at all.

I'd probably get a Pontiac over a tC. My brother has a Monte Carlo too, and I'd probably pick that above a tC as well. <_>

What's really funny is that there is a Toyota plant (builds the Tundra's) about an hour away from me. Highest paying factory assembly job that I know of. A few summer's ago they were paying their college temps $16 an hour to screw on the step-up rails. Full-timers make over 50k a year (no college needed). lolToyota indeed.
