He is a Rugby player.
Am I way too picky, or is that bitches face busted?
Kiro I still think you're cute, even with the awful smoking habit.
PRETTY SURE YOU CAN'T GET ADDICTED TO WEED GUYS.2. A chemical substance, such as a narcotic or hallucinogen, that affects the central nervous system, causing changes in behavior and often addiction.
But yeah you can call it a drug if you want. I call it a plant, because.. it's a plant. If you happen to light it on fire.. ehhhhh~
It's what Shiva intended, that's for sure.
And if it's ok with Shiva, then it's ok with me!
I'm not sure whether you're joking or misinformed, but you sure as hell can get addicted to weed. although imo it's closer to a psychological addiction like gambling than it is to an actual drug addiction like meth or heroin. people just think you can't be addicted because all pot addicts do is toke up and work at Pizza Hut, instead of blowing up trailers and whoring themselves out to feed the habit.
Addicted in the sense that people associate with harder drugs, no. You can become dependent on weed for sure, but I really don't consider that an addiction. You just get cranky if you don't have some after a while (and that lasts a day at the most), but that can be said for a lot of stuff (food for one).
I understand where you're coming from, and there is a lot of debate out there about the subject, but from my own personal experience as well as all of the research I've done on the subject, it is absolutely possible to develop a marijuana addiction. there are definitely some people out there who end up using marijuana compulsively even as it becomes a detriment to their school, their job, their relationships, and their life in general. I think we've all known potheads like that. that is the definition of an addiction. now, most people can handle their pot just fine, even smoking on a daily basis... but not everyone.
like I said, you can't think of it the same way you think of hardcore drug addiction. it's much more of a psychological addiction, and much less harmful than something like meth, but it definitely has the potential to develop into an addiction nonetheless. just do a google search. there are plenty of opinions on both sides of the debate, but the amount of evidence and the number of professionals who consider it a true addiction is enough for me to agree.
so what I'm saying is, you're right, it's not the same as a hardcore drug addiction, but it can absolutely evolve beyond dependence and into true addiction. it's just that it's a lot less likely to happen and even if it does, the effects of being a marijuana addict aren't nearly as bad as being, say, a tweaker.
