Let me just say this right now... I hate Lubbock.
My most significant memory of Houston was going to the mall with a 24? screen theater with my cousins and watching Anaconda and when JLO is wearing her nightgown and stands up with her ass sickin out like 10 people whistled and said "daaaam". And my oldest cousin told me that the police found a body rolled up in a rug in the ditch by their house one. That freaked me out. I was pretty young at the time so no idea if he was just wooshing me or serious.
Ive been to texas 5 times, to go to cowboys games. Went to Austin a few times for work conferences and enjoyed it.
It can get pretty raw out here depending on what side of town you are on... I can believe something like that may have happened. (I personally have not actually run across any dead bodies if I wasn't somewhere that I already knew was a bad area of town, unfortunately I grew up in/near these areas)
Obviously that's not going to be commonplace but I wouldn't rule it out.
Oh and texas rappers are terrible.
Don't start with me Kyo.
Spittin hot fire.
Don't start that shit, we're doing good. Lubbock is terrible, San Antonio is my favorite city. Austin is amazing too.
My boss was from Lubbock. She just hated how damn windy it is. San Antonio is a amazing city. Growing up I spent almost every vacation there. As for Austin.....You know all those "keep Austin weird" shirts.....a little t shirt place here sells shirts that say "keep your weird ass out of the hill country". But I can't hate too much since many of my more musical friends moved there. Figures
I can't stand Houston, DFW is my favorite area (surprise, surprise), and San Antonio and Austin are both cool in my book.
Arlington is where its at. I looove some roller coasters. Another thing that makes San Antonio too. Houston is dead to me now that Astro World is gone.
ah, good ole Arlington. I've had more jobs there than I don't know what. And Six Flags? I've probably spent more time there than I have at my house, lol. Seasons Pass, FUCK YEAH
I didn't have time to go to any of em this last summer (my first summer back in Texas in 4 years) But I am determined to go to both the six flags + Schiltterbahn and the aquarium and the Lexington in corpus this comming summer. Time to go back and visit some old memories.
oh man, Schiltterbahn. That place is outstanding.
You bet your damn ass it is. When I watched the South Park about the water park and the piss I couldn't help but think of Schiltterbahn.
Galveston, New Braunfels or South Padre?
I've only been to Galveston
New Braunfels or bust.
What the hell? A vagina dare take away the spotlight from me when I posted a comment-worthy picture? I am displeased.
