Those pics were taken with a Nikon D40. It's about the cheapest DSLR you can buy. Buying a Canon before christmas, probably a 500D (still torn on a couple of models). The Nikon isn't even comparable.

I have a camera around here somewhere... it's the one I took my uniform pic in. No idea what brand it was, got it for about $110. Can't complain, I suppose.

Hmmm Really, Buddy has a D40, I don't remember him getting that kind of clarity with it. Might have to investigate (read: Steal) his some more, but oh man I hear you on the Canon that sucker is a beast. Then again I'm a sucker for any Canon.
