You should go to Toronto pride. There is so many gayer things in the world.

Gayest thing in the world I've seen is a man walking his Yorkie in the snow in a pair of booty shorts, tank top, uggs and a loui vuitton bag...in January..with snow on the ground.

The whole street kinda just stopped and staired as he went past, it was actually kinda hilarious.

Ok, maybe not THE GAYEST, but you could just tell this guy had gay oozing out of every pore of his body.

That's because there's various kinds of gay. The gay that's a synonym for lame, the gay that means over-the-top feminine and retarded, and the gay that means you're a dude who likes fucking other dudes and cocks or whatever. Just because it's associated doesn't mean it's the same thing. Effeminate =/= homosexual. You can be gay without being an effeminate faggot lol

I know for example that the gay guys with two or more older brothers tend to all be almost exactly the same, and they physically cannot change how they appear or act because it's just how they are. Prenatal hormones etc.

I do think it's hypocritical to "exile" any homosexuals for being a particular way. We're supposed to embrace diversity after all, otherwise we're taking one step forward and two steps back.

I seriously recommend people go to Toronto Pride at least once in their life. There is no experience like it I've ever found. Vancouver Pride doesn't hold a candle to it.

That said, never live in the neighbourhood when Pride is going on.

Niro's post is an example of what i'm referring to. Without assuming that it's bad for now- Niro uses the term gayer. Does nirokun mean that his brother likes men more than he does, or does he mean that his brother is more effeminate than he is?

Often when the term gay is used quantitatively by gay men themselves, it is never in relation to their desire for men, which is what they claim gay qua gay means, but in relation to gender; how effeminate a given person is.

So perhaps gay men are split 50/50 in terms of those who think that gay should also mean effeminate and those that do not.

Gay means a lot of things. A gay man means he is a homosexual. "That guy is so gay." just means that guy is effeminate.

The definition changes depending on how it used. Not really that surprising as many words in the English language do that, especially slang.

I don't even see "gayness" being effeminate, because I equate it (effeminate) to being feminine, which is different than "gayness." Women aren't like gayyyyy guys, and gayyyyy guys aren't like women imo. That being said, I find the "I'm staunchly-straight-acting androsexual" subset of homosexual men being very gayyyyy, but in a different wayyyyy. Overconcerned about what the boundaries of masculinity are, what gays are in and what gays are not. The whole "deliberate-ness" of being "straight-acting" as well as being flamboyantly gay, to me, is all very gay! Don't get me wrong, there are some very easy-going, masculine homosexual men (there must be for all the fad-fags to imitate) out there that occur quite naturally, but the "cult of masculinity" within homosexual men is just another fad that has swung around.

So when I say that my brother is much gayer than me, I mean that he has those gay-ass scarf things, big bug-eyed sunglasses, loud clothing, faux-hawk, and the list GOES ON. I have gay porn (and straight porn), some music choices, and gay-talk with my little brother. I'd lump all the other "weird" stuff I do under gender-funderful and just being a "weird"-type person that does what they want. Like, I don't think of myself on a scale of handsome, or pretty, I think of myself on a scale of magnificent. Seriously, I ponder personal magnificence on a regular basis.
