the last 2 months of my life have been the hardest months of my life, but also the most rewarding.

imm 22 years old, and i know im late. but i finally got my own place. and idc what anyone says about "oh you're only 4 years late" etc. eff you

i had ZERO help as far as financial stability goes and i did it all by myself lol. but thanks to my dad/sister and others by lending me their older things, i managed to finally move in a place where im not ashamed to call home. and its not just because for the 1st time in my life, the only black dude that lives around this city is about 15 min away, but i got the bills to prove that i've been making it in the real world

no but seriously, this city needs more blacks. i dont mind standing out in a crowd, but in boca raton, i feel like everyone has their eye on me waiting to do something weird lol

i didnt tell a lot of my online friends about this for about 2 months just because i didnt want to jinx myself. shit's rough. i lost my job 2 weeks after signing this lease, and coming up with 2 grand every month plus essentials can make you wanna pull out your hair, but things are falling into place for the 1st time in my life and i couldnt be happier

i just hope i can keep this up <_>
