WMC party at Richardd's?
22 is about average for moving out, nothing wrong with free living with the parents while working things out, anyone who tells you differently is an idiot. But yeah, quite a nice first place indeed.
Anyone who gives ppl shit for moving out at an 'old' age is a fucking retard. I moved out at 26, and infact I regret it because of the circumstances of me moving out. I cant stand these morons who want to move out just for the sake of it, and wind up not having any god damn money, oh look its my stupid roomates. I got in a fight, and might even break up, with my gf earlier today over it. She tells me Wednesday that they want to play drinking games tonight, ok I'm fine w/ that. And then the texts today while I'm at work tell the tale..Before I do the convo history, here's what's known:
-drinking game at my place friday night, krazy kings.
-all alcohol that presently is at our apt is mine.
Her: Bring home some alchol plz? if times arent too rough lmao
Me: Which?
Her: Vodka lol crazy kings night remember lol so were 6 iunno buy wat u can
Me: I have to supply? wtf
Her: Lol there is some but not enough. Its fine never mind then lmao
Me: Yeah I know, u missed my point. I'm paying for everyone? ummm no
Me: I'm judging by the lack of answer you were expecting me to pay, thats pretty fucking selfish
Her: Ok bug, theres already alcohol, just a lil more is what I wanted. Fucking relax and stop picking fights, no is no shut the fuck up
Her again: ur blowing things way out of proportion, u said no its alrite, stop picking fights whos bipolar now (I called her bipolar the day earlier because in an instant her mood towards me went from happy to epic piss off)
Me: and that alcohol there is still mine though, I'm not rich. Like what the fuck were you guys expecting
Her: K shut up, were not using yours fuck, kels bought a bottle already its just low percentage. Fuck u, i asked nicely u told me to fuck off like an asshole.
Me: Read your texts, it clearly looked like "josh buy for all"
Her: no thats because u think I'd do that, no need to fucking tell me off. So wtv we'll make do with the caracao blue kels bought, see u later (my mental reaction: LOL THATS THEIR BOTTLE OF ALCOHOL....WTF)
Me: Ok then, in plain english...this bottle u want me to buy, what size and whos paying?
Her: nvm fuck we spent last money everyone is broke. We'll use the bottle keld bought and if u play use the morgan
Me; So dont tell me I"m picking a fight fuck, I was right, u were expectin me to pay for everyone.
...
It went on further, but I'm getting lazy.
I'm done with this fucking cunt. It digs deeper than that. About 5 weeks ago she went through my phone looking at my texts and call history, then gave me shit for thanking a girl for a dance (a dance she gave me permission to considering it was a work related x-mas party). 2 weeks ago she went through someone elses phone to find dirt on me, albeit what I said was over the top, it doesnt change the fact of what she did. For the past 3 months, every time I have a msg on msn, or am in tells with someone on FF, its the same broken record "oh another girl, you trying to fuck her too huh".
wow that post ran on incredibly long, sorry![]()
If you don't say shit you shouldn't, you'll never have to worry about her (or whoever in the future) checking all over the place. Just sayin'.
Rich, are you trini or guyanese? I can't tell, but I'm leaning on trini.
And if so, we need to party because I'm both.
edit: fuckin bg made me post shit late, ffs
There's nothing wrong with not having your own home at that age. 22 isn't that old. A lot of people, such as myself, are still in college at that age.imm 22 years old, and i know im late. but i finally got my own place. and idc what anyone says about "oh you're only 4 years late" etc. eff you i had ZERO help as far as financial stability goes and i did it all by myself lol. but thanks to my dad/sister and others by lending me their older things, i managed to finally move in a place where im not ashamed to call home. and its not just because for the 1st time in my life, the only black dude that lives around this city is about 15 min away, but i got the bills to prove that i've been making it in the real world
I'm 23 and I'm not moving out until I'm at a point where I can put money down on something. I've just finished nursing school so I have a nice career job to start saving (been saving, but it isn't anything substantial) and paying off student loans. I'm strongly considering buying a condo as my first place, or a smallish house. People moving out early just to throw away money on an apartment never made much sense to me. Makes it harder to save money and put yourself in a good financial situation.
Yeah, this.
I moved out at 18 since I studied out of the city, but If I had a chance I'd definitely stay with family for a couple more years at least. There is nothing wrong with it unless you can't get along with your family, or if they are poor, etc.
That said, I'm living alone/with roomie for 8 years now and I should say...its pretty fun. But if you've got a chance (if you are not getting kicked out, studying away, etc.), stay with your family and start saving money.
Who can move out in this economy?
good guess lol
im trini!
and thank you guys for the compliments. around here, i have a lot of friends that go to FAU who moved out at 18/live in dorms, so whenever they wanted to chill at my old place, i would always try to lean and hint on somewhere else since i was living w/my stinky ass roomates/family lol. they all kept telling me that i needed a new place, blah blah blah. and idk what happened, i ended up saving up a ton of money for a down payment and my credit was ok, so i just looked for a place that would suit my lifestyle lol. (im good at not spending money on useless things)
im not gonna lie and say i got a great deal compared to everyone else, but im just happy i got my own place now. and shit, i wish i had a rich family like a lot of my friends do. one of my friend's parents are paying her entire rent/car payments and she lives about 3 doors away from me. but i dont. so i gotta work extra hard anyways. i do plan on getting a roommate or 2 since i got the guest rooms for it, but for now, i just wanna enjoy having the house to myself and my doggies :D
and thanks again for the comments. it makes me feel REALLY good that im not the only one who was waiting for a bit after 18 to move out. but i cant tell you how it feels to drive home to a quiet/empty beautiful place that ALLLLLL belongs to you for the 1st couple times. i never had that luxury
Nice looking place richardd!
Rich I'm coming over tonight. kk bro
