So apparently, I don't know jack shit about my own aunt, or she just knows how to keep a secret. (maybe a little bit of both) Anyway was reading the paper a few months ago and saw an article that she was nominated to be the ambassador of Seychelles and Meritos Africa. Some other nominees dropped out and eventually a date was set for her to be sworn in at the state dept last Tuesday. The coronation was a huge event, several representatives, ambassadors, and speakers made their appearances to praise my aunt for her tireless efforts in foreign relations around the globe, from aiding US POWs in Bosnia to having Nelson Mandela's name taken of the terrorist watch list. "!?"

My little cousins got the day off from school on the condition they took pics and the guy on the right was nice enough to join in. Turns out he was the ambassador of Seychelles.
