I ended up dumping a lot of money in food when I re-dieted as well. Was pretty funny/frustrating. I went back down to my normal 1500-2000+
Talked to a weight training specialist and doctor. We have some ideas on how to solve it, going to talk to a nutritionist soon.
It turned from ass end of jokes to serious a few weeks ago with some complex migraines that hospitalized me. Its something I used to have a lot of when I was in middle school (during a growth spurt where I gained 6 inches over the course of about 2 years) (My ex roommate has the best description of complex migraines. "Its like having a stroke, but your face will still work after you've recovered)
I got lucky when I got into the hospital and a doctor knew exactly what I was going through. Pointed to my nutrition and weight, combined with my stressful lifestyle. "Fix that shit"
EDIT:
I should also note... I never get sick, ever. No really, I never get flu, cold, stomach shit, w/e else ppl go through. It never happens and hasn't happened since a bad stomach flu about 10 years ago, which I got over in about 2hrs while sitting in the ER. Funny note going from one boss to another, he told him "Don't let him fool you if he tries to pull a sick day, he doesn't get sick"
All the crazier when I went to the hospital for the CM
