If you're trying to get drunk on a small budget, drink hard liquor. You have to drink SO much shitty beer to feel a buzz anyway. If you want to get fat and enjoy the taste of camel piss, more power to you. Even Coors/Bud/Miller Lite are in a whole different league than Natty and Keystone.

The dark beer comment was just my preference, and there are definitely some enjoyable light beers out there. There really isn't a good reason to ever drink Natty & Keystone though.

This thread just makes me appreciate living in the Pacific Northwest more than I normally do because of the super high concentration of microbreweries. I haven't drank beer that can be bought in a can since I was 18 (9 years). I am mainly a fan of double and triple IPAs, but can get down with other beers such as Belgian ales, lagers, and some stouts.
