I'm just wondering, out of all the over-weight, funny-looking people in this thread, the ones that take care of themselves (working out, tanning, etc) are being picked on?

Read the whole thread, everybody gets picked on. And the only thing that was pointed out on Quixon was his popped up collar, and at least he had the excuse of being drunk, don't know what the guy in the pink shirt excuse is.

I heard a little bit of tanning (natural) is kinda good, but not excessive.

going out into the sunlight so that your body makes its own vitamin d (pretty sure) so that you dont get rickets, but thats not really "tanning" though

That couldn't be more wrong. Controlled tanning is actually very good for your skin and is prescribed by doctors as a way to treat broken out skin and siriosis and such. It also provides a good source of vitamin D and can help with arthritis and joint pain.

Looks like the guy with his gf is burnt not tan, so yeah, not so good for the skin. tanning naturally has positives associated with it, like the fact that those who are tanning naturally tend to be more active than sedentary.

as for the pink shirt guy, out of context, we don't know if he's tan from regular visits to the beach, the bed, or whatever. And as far as I can tell, his too tight pink shirt, isn't all that tight, though I agree completely with him being a douchebag.

I don't think there's a term set in stone for douchebag. It just seems to be a fitting adjective for a lot of people.
