but look at his arm, and his face. Any area exposed outwardly. Now im half irish, and i know what naturally rosy skin looks like, but he has a clear line from sunburn on his arm, and characteristic sunburn on his face. That is not "controlled tanning."
my other half is filipino, and i while i have pretty fair skin, i dont burn. I can go out for like 15 minutes (i did it one warm day when i was letting the dogs run around in the backyard, watching them in the event that they fell into the pool and needed to be helped out) and sit in the sunlight and get a tan line (assuming i dont move so i can get a clear line)
Didn't know the Green Ranger posted on these forums.Originally Posted by Quixon

If you're worried about cancer, there's a new study every few weeks about some new crap giving cancer. Hell I bet in a few weeks someone will tell me the internet will give me cancer. Nothing is wrong with the sun, getting sunburnt is nature's way of saying "Hmmm you got a bit too much", and being pale like a ghost is also nature's way of saying "GET TO THE SUNMOBILE".
Wow. So glad I'm not the only one who instantly thought this lolOriginally Posted by Khelek
It's all in good fun. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't lol'ing at 1/2 the pictures posted in this this thread to myself. No offense, but why do nerds/geeks hate on jock types? Cause they're more popular and get more (hotter) chicks?
I knew the infamous "Douche Bag" picture was coming as well haha. That's pretty much correct except for the gay tatoo, tanning bed (I was in Dominican Republic on vacation = tan), and popped collar (albeit appropriate for the picture I posted lol).
I am a cocky asshole around friends too. But I'm a very respectful person to others, unlike the typical person portrayed in the picture above. I have what I would think to be a fairly good level of intelligence. I designed a product that me and my father based an at home business around, which we recently just sold outright (Google Zipass). B/c of that I own a home at the age of 23, drive (and own outright) a $36,000 car, and have plenty of money in savings and investments to build my future family around. I'm working as a Sales Coordinator for the largest privately owned communications cable manufacturer in the U.S. currently (Remee Products Corp.).
I'll take the daggers as they come flying lol. I wouldn't have posted the picture if I was afraid of what people where going to say about me *^_^*.
What? Wait What? I proclaim you idiot of the board. That is all.Originally Posted by Deelo

Jocks and guys that can take care of themselves = Good News.
Just stay out of the tanning bed >_>
I've never stepped foot into a tanning bed in my life.
I do admittedly love the beach and ocean though. When I'm on vacation I'm on the beach a majority of the time. During the summer we are at Asbury Park, NJ on the beach almost every weekend.
And about the tanning being a remedy for some skin diseases mentioned earlier. My dad has Psoriasis that tends to flare up on him on his hands, the doctor did tell him to try the tanning beds out. I think he goes once or twice and week, and it does help him out a lot. He uses that in conjunction with the Parafin Wax treatments and he says it works great.
Edit:
Here's a pic of my normal skin tone lol

When someone's beard gets that long, do they use shampoo on it? (sincere question, lol)
I break out like crazy if I don't shave every 2-3 days. That is definitely an epic lumberjack beard you have there. You portray the grizzly look quite well.
While we're making the comparisons...

I do, and I don't even have a full beard, just a short-trimmed goatee. Keeps it from getting tangled, stiff, and nasty smelling. Plus, goatee dandruff all over the place under your chin doesn't help, either.Originally Posted by Ivaden
