Of course. I mean this is all fairly obvious to say, but to me it just seems since men naturally have a much better starting point for shorter styles that better define masculine features, they would want to take advantage of it.

That is, instead of what I consider to be working against the grain with longer styles that have to co-exist and try not to look like shit when matched against defined features, unless of course they naturally have a more feminine appearance and at that point I think it'd be accentuating, which again would be a preference. In that case I just think too many guys try to work a feminine angle thinking it'd be attractive to anyone but bitches obsessed with J-rock lol. I'm mostly kidding and not trying to hide my bias here or anything, so I understand there's probably a lot of disagreement on this topic.

Ah, lol As far as my reference I didn't specifically mean that guy/hairstyle you linked, more as a reference to that type of look as a whole, the picture just reminded me of it. I always associate that with overstyled J-rockers for some reason even though my Korean friend has just as many examples of Korean boy bands lol.

I'm not a Scouser, I just study here, and I have less than a week left of university... I'm from a corner of County Durham, but I don't qualify as a Geordie since it's not close enough to Newcastle. Most people I meet assume I'm Irish due to my accent. Weird. Then again they've never heard of Durham. But hey, Irish boys have the hottest accents ever so I don't complain. Even had an Irish guy ask if I'm Irish once...
