Not now that they are healed they don't reject. Troublesome are seatbelts because the outer barbells. When I sit in cars, I place my hand under the shoulder strap so that it lays between the belt and my neck, just a paranoia thing.
Because they are surface piercings they are apt to reject but I got past the hard stuff and have had them for several years now. I love people's reactions to them. When I was in the hospital for surgery, the xray tech, when I was asking if I needed to take them out, he flipped out and called a bunch of personnel in just to look at me. I have to take them out for MRI's and I don't like that!
They begin grow out within minutes of taking out the piercing so when I clean them I have to slightly torture myself to replace the jewelry.
