Not now that they are healed they don't reject. Troublesome are seatbelts because the outer barbells. When I sit in cars, I place my hand under the shoulder strap so that it lays between the belt and my neck, just a paranoia thing.

Because they are surface piercings they are apt to reject but I got past the hard stuff and have had them for several years now. I love people's reactions to them. When I was in the hospital for surgery, the xray tech, when I was asking if I needed to take them out, he flipped out and called a bunch of personnel in just to look at me. I have to take them out for MRI's and I don't like that!

They begin grow out within minutes of taking out the piercing so when I clean them I have to slightly torture myself to replace the jewelry.

I was about to say, don't ever wear any metal in piercings for MRI... I usually use a clear retainer for my lip piercing but I've grown attached to this labret. If you're needing to take out metal, just buy several bioplast retainers and put them in before the examination. They'll keep the holes open so you won't traumatize your skin the next time you put the metal ones back in.

Sure they're CNS depressants, but they've such a high dependency ratio I wouldn't recommend anyone simply taking them for sleeplessness.

It's just me and my ridiculous sleeping patterns - I studied better in the night, but now the exams are done I'm still in night-owl mode...

I take ambien to sleep but its not good every day to use it. Makes me sleepy silly horny munchies all at once, excellent sex drug. As for sleep, perhaps listen to some soft music and do some rhythmic breathing exercises?

I never heard of bio plast, sounds like a cool industrial band :D but I have a bunch of acrylic retainers that I put in during mri's since I had to have so many procedures for my spine.

Yeah, the acrylics do just as well - bioplast, as its name suggests, is just a synthetic plastic that is less likely to cause irritation than acrylic does. It's also significantly more flexible too.

No, not NHS doctors at any rate. They only prescribe them to patients who don't respond to other therapies such as MAOIs.

I think I figured out why no one noticed the 5 pieces of stainless steel piercing the skin of my lower neck. :D

@Naggi: For sleep, I like melatonin I take one 30mins before I want to be in bed and it gives that "Ah, now would be a niiiice time to take a nap" feeling I usually get in the late afternoon Non-habit forming, no possibility of overdose iirc, and it's cheap and otc!
