god this is going to sound gay(not that there's anything wrong with that) but it looks really nice. Is your hair naturally straight? If not how's the upkeep? I'm a bit of a fashionista and bangs are in, but my curly hair is doesn't really facilitate bangs.

I'm same way, my hair is thick and curly, sux, I just keep it buzzed. I can't imagine how long it would take me to get my hair to lay down like that if it was long.

My hair is naturally very, very curly.

I've always hated growing it out because of that, and for the better part of my life I've kept it really short. When it's longer it just turns into a fluff of hair, or well... An afro.

I just ended up growing it out recently for something different. I had no plans to style it straight or anything, but I kind of like it like this so far! It's not permanent though, as soon as I take a shower or it gets damp it'll probably curl up again.

But uh, I'll attempt to describe what they did to my hair lol... I don't know much about styling though, and don't think I could upkeep this at all.

Right after a shower, they put a light leave in conditioner in hair and combed it out with a wide-toothed comb while blow drying it. After it was dry, and they successfully gave me a full-blown afro, they combed it with a thicker brush. Then, sprayed in some pre-ironing stuff, and whipped out a flat iron and clips and straightened it one section at a time. Finished off with curling iron so it didn't look like a really bad whig.
