I suppose the fact that out of the top 5 richest people in the world, 3 are American, which probably means nothing as well. And I'd also assume inventions such as the light bulb, phonograph, telephone, fucking FLIGHT, all by Americans, probably doesn't mean anything either.

Yes, America is full of great innovators, great intelligent men and women. Unfortunately, most of you aren't that smart, probably including you too. You see, while America is the land of great opportunity (although it has less social mobility than european countries... so maybe not opportunity) and great individuals, it's also the land of great differences. That's why its social services suck and so much of the income and wealth is in the hands of increasingly few people. An astute observation, but NOT being socialists doesn't make us troglodytes. The majority of our people believe you don't deserve help if you don't help yourself. And even THEN, there are a lot of people who choose to lead a pathetic existence and live off welfare, food stamps, state provided health care, etc., and have the gall to bitch about people being rich. We have LOTS of social programs, but that doesn't mean we all sit around relish in the benefits.

And you're right, I don't consider myself an above average intelligence person. I have my strong points. But you know what, in America, I've been making 60k+ a year since I was 23, I own a 3 bedroom house, I have 2 vehicles paid off, I own half an acre of property (See, in America, you get property, in Europe, you get a flat and enough parking to fit your Mini Cooper), the point is, I'm doing pretty well for myself, even with my obvious mental handicap. And even with the problems we have I'd still rather be here than in any other country. And the way people are breaking their necks to get in this bitch, I'm incline to believe there's a lot of people out there who might agree with me.
