That's Ron Mueck, he does amazing sculptures. He actually uses real hair and inserts it with a needle, strand by strand. He also did the puppets for the movie Labyrinth and Fraggle Rock. I love his work.

These are all sculptures he's done. His whole thing is that he refuses to make life sized sculptures because you see real people every day. So all of his sculptures are either really huge or really small.

Looks like that could be Peace country, or maybe down in the South Rockies; but moose aren't very common in the south. Most large ungulates tend to stay north of Banff.

I think I read about it on Fark many moons ago. Apparently when the crew was some distance away, pulling the cables that pully the posts up, there was a moost fucking around them and got caught and pulled up there with them and no one noticed until it was too late and not worth pulling the whole thing down for one already fucked up moose.

Prolly not when they have many many many yards of wire over a large distance, it already feels extremely tight from the pure weight.
