Power lines aren't as weak as you think, they don't snap easy. Also there was no potential energy as in, the moose didn't fall on the lines, it was picked up with them all at once.

What do you know about that. Maybe the moose came out of the same laboratory that gave Wolverine his adamantine claws. They had to test their technology on animal first.

http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/9595/moose3bp4.jpgAlthough the above photograph above is not very appealing... The above picture [shows] exactly how the moose were found after the battle in which their antlers became locked and ultimately took their lives.
The antlers aren't just there for decoration.

(You can buy a bronze replica of the fatal situation for only $3300, buy one while they last only 25 produced.)
There is a slight difference between getting suspended by your antler and getting them stuck against another animal.
I think the point he's trying to make is that if the weight of two fully grown bulls can't pull their antlers off then the weight of just one dangling from wire isn't going to do it either. Moose/deer antlers are solid bone through and thicker than my wrist where they join to the skull (that's also several inches thick). Until they drop off naturally late in winter you need a bonesaw for any chance of detaching them. Where I grew up hunters hang deer by the horns when they're skinning them and when meat is left to hang, moose is generally hung by the thin bone/tendon gap in their "ankles" and if that can hold their whole weight...
Check some out next time you go to a natural history museum or something if you don't believe and can't get first hand experience otherwise. Anyone that's been moose hunting or held antlers/skull in their hands knows what I'm talking about, they're hueg.![]()

So when we get FF7 remae on PS3, this is how the cross dressing scene is gonna look. (Seriously though I can see them omitting that scene because of soccer mommies)

I've been hunting the majority of my life. I know what antlers are for, and I'm well aware that they can lock. They cannot support a thousand pound animal suspended directly from them while he's struggling to get free. Once the anlters loose their velvet the tissue at the base of it starts to deteriorate, eventually they fall off. That moose wasn't in velvet.
lol wow.. ok hardass.. you're right.. the antlers clearly aren't strong; they can't support a moose and the pics and articles are obvious fakes and we're all in on it too
