    asus extreme striker mobo help

i cant find it in the instructions, they once worked but they no longer do, i tried googling, and looking in the case and pressing the power button (theres POST LED which illuminates the POST and then theres blue LED lights that line the outside of the mobo) im also an imbecile who had this machine put together so explain it in retard if you can help, it doesn't so much bother me since I would usually have it off but I want to have it available. it worked when it was put together and booted up for the first few times but don't anymore and i just noticed this, nothing in BIOS or that I can find in the asus/nvidia software..probably something simple I'm overlooking..thanks in advance /wallotext

It's possible if you were working on the mobo(i.e. adding some hardware) that you disconnected the wiring that provides power to the LEDs and just forgot to reconnect them. I'd suggest checking your Mobo manual(assuming it came w/ one) and try to find info on it in there. That's the most likely place for anything about the LEDs to be described. If you find the info on the LEDs just find where it says how to connect the wiring and take it from there. Should really only take a few minutes.

If that doesn't work it's possible part of the board is defected or the LEDs were poor quality and wore out way too fast.
