Serpentine Lash is a single target blinkable/third-eyeable attack that does about 1k damage, really tame.

I believe it's actually conical from behind, but it's definitely blinkable.

Either way, I've been thinking of small-manning it for shits, but wasn't sure of what its breaking point was TP-wise. Also, what setups have you done it with (in a single party)? If I were to do it, I'd have WAR or PLD (me), MNK (or PLD), WHM (or SMN or RNG), and BRD almost guaranteed, figure a RDM would be helpful, and trying to figure out what we should get for the 6th. From my previous fights, I'm also pretty certain it's crit-based, so I'm mostly confused about what to do with the MNK.

Yes, but MNK doesn't get any WS or abilities that can give you crits in a pinch. It's probably not worth worrying about, since you're right, Destroyers would probably be sufficient, but it's something to look at nonetheless.

Backhand Blow if you need a crit-based WS. It sucks, but if it'll help knock off the heads, it works.

We had a BLU/THF doing SA+Vertical Cleave last night, seemed to cut heads pretty often.
