Last time I checked, you don't fight Fafnir for 3 and a half hours. Afking for 29.5 minutes + spamming enter for 30 seconds != having to stay intensely focused for a 3.5 hour fight. I doubt anyone can even afk long enough to take a piss much less get food or something. 6-manning Jorm is a test of endurance more than anything else, which was my point. Comparing it to a Fafnir camp is beyond retarded.

Not trying to start anything but it's really dickish to tell someone that their accomplishment is a waste of time just because you don't have the patience and/or skill to do it.

I say great job. I'm waiting to see it done without relics, but still, that's what. . . the second time anyone has done it across servers? Very awesome.

Did you forget the part where one small fuckup and it's all over? In this game, there is no more test of skill than 6-manning jorm really. FFXI skill is endurance and awareness. 6 man jorm is a hell of an accomplishment

We killed the adds as soon we aggroed them, 3 BLMs in party sleep > nuke and we also used agas on jorm when we had multiple adds up to 3. Bombs and elementals were pretty much the main problem, they'd mess up everything :/. There were about 10 people in the whole zone, no one helped with anything, it was jorm+adds everything against 6ppl, we also used DoTs on him to kill his regen and never slept him.

Grats on both bows. You have my luck on those I was 1/10 on Selene's and 1/1 on Obow as well. Both are very good until you can get your hands on an Ebow(if you're going bow). Obow is just fine as is

This was up unclaimed for about 3hrs that i know of, was unclaimed during my exp pt and then came back 3hrs later after Bahamut V2 and was still unclaimed, On other note, Bahamut's Mask Droped, Congrats Daugue.

i like how the first argument that people come up with is that i'm jealous. no, not at all. i just understand game mechanics. just because jormungand is big and scary and has a lot of hp doesn't mean killing him in conditions that would make him far easier than in a generic alliance fight should be impressive to me. so no, not impressed, at all. i dig the idea and shit, spending several hours to achieve a goal, i've done the same shit several times over. but really doing what they did, aside from the waiting game, takes a really small amount of skill and a shitload of patience, with minor concentration needed. brd and rdm slowing jormungand make him a fucking joke, add in the complete lack of any tp moves and his laughable blizzaga 3 and you have a fight that would be harder to lose to with a relic shield and horn than it'd be to win to. plus if you pull him to the right spot, adds are very minimal. and lawl if 3 blms with brd and rdm sleeping backup can't handle anything less than 8 adds with ease, even though you probably rarely had to fight more than 2-3 adds at once.

bring on the flames, idc lawl. grats on the win though, not a flamer or hater, you'll see that from my posts, but i just wanted to clear up the misconception that this is impressive.

I think more than 5 adds would be a wipe for sure, we once had 4 adds and almost wiped, Jorms blizzaga3's, touchdowns including all the other spells wiping shadows and BLMs getting hit by the adds, RDM/BRD trying to cure people, remember BLM have low HP and can die pretty fast, if one BLM goes down, it will be hard for the other two to keep all of them slept, and the longer it takes you to kill them, the more adds you get =/. I'm glad we didn't get 4 adds when Jorm used nasty TP moves when it got TP regen under 30% HP though.
