Actually Odin RMT had a D ring on a PLD that had RDM also but I think the account got wiped by GM's

Had to be a pretty lucky drop considering the gilsellers on our server have killed KB like.. twice and otherwise just CFH.. or set their claim bots to NQ only.

Guess I'm confused though, because it's not really made terribly clear since it seems people are talking about both sides.. is this person a notorious gilbuyer or one of the gilsellers that usually have a parade of Taru on /follow and take 28 minutes to kill NQ Behemoth? :D

He is the RMT gilseller, not a gilbuyer. In sky, he and his PLD buddy Humehid have a clone army follow them everywhere (all Taru, all BLM, all same model, all same gear...hell, they all rest and cast at the exact same time). Funny someone mentioned RMT named Rcommen on another server.....the NIN of this group is also name Recommen.

Also, the PLD/NIN combo is just mirroring other HNMLS's. Honestly, if we were to kill a Fafnir with me tanking as BST/SMN....they would show up as BST/SMN eventually. They basically tank an NM with whatever tank a legit LS used recently. Willing to bet NIN/DRK and BRD/NIN RMT's are being lvl'd as we speak.

If memory serves me correctly, they have claimed 3 Nidhoggs, all resulting in Flails. Nid #1 was self induced because they didn't have a clue what they claimed. Nid #2 flailed due to some help from a Wabo RDM (actually...he triggered flail twice). Nid #3 was also an aided flail, but this time by a Fortune PLD. Sadly, RMT reclaimed later and CFH. Funny how 2 LS's who have been at odds their entire career's (as seen on this forum a few times) suddenly band together for a common cause.

KB doesnt just pop once in a life time, lol. How did he not earn it? they claimed it and killed it, are you talking about botting? then many many many people didn't earn their D.ring too i guess. The fact that they are RMTs? whats wrong with taking something free from RMTs?

i've done it before (never in my life i gave RMTs money), but took almost all the sky items from them, just had to stay @ camp, and when shit drops i lot. saves me the trouble from camping against them, spending endless hours, I'd rather focus on more fun stuff. I have a HNMLS, but they dont do Sky, and i dont want to commit myself into a Sky LS just for some items, cus i know i will not want to continue with them for a long time.

Taking items from the Gil sellers themselves, people believe, will only encourage them to stay and farm more, believing they can profit more off by exploiting Rare/ex items. Also make them into thinking that the social norm of that server has accepted them into the society, thus only causing more problem.

There is nothing free from gil farmers: they either sell things that have value, or they give them to people as payment for helping them learn how to kill things. Even if they are a plague and we'd be better off without em, there will always be a group there when it's aboot to pop because B.Hide is still and will always be an interesting item. (For money or the actual items that you can get out of it.)

This is what happens when you make a flawed ass NM system. The developers for this game are either blind as hell or damn retarded to believe bots weren't going to be a big part of the end game. People are pretty damn retarded if they thought most people, not all, but most aren't going to do everything they can to gain an advantage over others when its a possible few hours of camping for a mob that pops once-a-day or even a week.

In conclusion, its a retarded system that has and will always will encourage bots until the whole damn system is re-done. This plays perfectly into the gilsellers game.

Kalia, im pretty sure that the Valefor D.Ring thing is still just a "Maybe" because we havent seen any new drings or any RMT with it on.

Everyone just be ready because in the next 6 months every big and maybe every small NM in the game is going to be instanced.

And heres some food for thought: person buys something off RMT. Theres probably a 99% chance that they are gilbuyers too, so they are buying dirty items with dirty money - the RMT are doubling their profits.
