The docters let him out because he was smart enough to know exactly what they wanted to hear.

just about every person that isnt retarded knows how to adapt to situations like that.

There is a lot more help that can be given then having some doctors go "Hey want some crazy pills crazy kid?". Look at the kids parents. Where they thoughtful and caring to him? What about his lifetime. How much trouble did he run into, did he have friends back when he was younger? There are warning signs that turn up all the time when someone is heading down this path.

It's not easy being a teenager/young adult.

Long before he boiled over, Virginia Tech gunman Cho Seung-Hui was picked on, pushed around and laughed at over his shyness and the strange way he talked when he was a schoolboy in suburban Washington, former classmates say.

Chris Davids, a Virginia Tech senior who graduated from Westfield High School in Chantilly, Va., with Cho in 2003, recalled that the South Korean immigrant almost never opened his mouth and would ignore attempts to strike up a conversation.

Once, in English class, the teacher had the students read aloud, and when it was Cho's turn, he just looked down in silence, Davids recalled. Finally, after the teacher threatened him with an F for participation, Cho started to read in a strange, deep voice that sounded "like he had something in his mouth," Davids said.

"As soon as he started reading, the whole class started laughing and pointing and saying, `Go back to China,'" Davids said.

Regan Wilder, 21, who attended Virginia Tech, high school and middle school with Cho, said she was in several classes with Cho in high school, including advanced-placement calculus and Spanish. She said he walked around with his head down, and almost never spoke. And when he did, it was "a real low mutter, like a whisper."

As part of an exam in Spanish class, students had to answer questions in Spanish on tape, and other students were so curious to know what Cho sounded like that they waited eagerly for the teacher to play his recording, she said. She said that on the tape, he did not speak confidently but did seem to know Spanish.

Wilder recalled high school teachers trying to get him to participate, but "he would only shrug his shoulders or he'd give like two-word responses, and I think it just got to the point where teachers just gave up because they realized he wasn't going to come out of the shell he was in, so they just kind of passed him over for the most part as time went on."

Cho tried to ask his roomate and another girl out on a date, but they called the cops on him for being a stalker.

huh, genosync didn't bitch back at me(or at least i don't think he did). i asked him to calm down for his own good, and if this thread or this forum was upsetting him that much, he really shouldn't come here at all, so he can find a peace of mind, which i think would be something someone like him really need--as opposed to a meaningless verbal fight here that don't solve shit

I don't know if you noticed from some of his posts, but he's coming here because not only is he a regular of these forums, he's looking for other people that might go to VT that play FFXI/visit these forums. He sort of made that quiet clear in his last post. He even posted his cell phone for people to contact him to talk if they need someone to talk to. It's pretty bad that people can't seem to get the hint that they're being a little harsh and have some decency to just stop or take it elsewhere.

In all honesty, I have no urge to even check this thread because of how disgusted some of the replies from a few make me. I'm mainly here now because Geno asked me to since he doesn't really have access to a computer. He wanted to see if anyone replied to him. To those who did, I'll let him know tomorrow unless he gets to a computer sooner than that. Then you'll most likely hear from him, himself, lol.
