BST/NIN with Guttler+Temp, excellent melee gear as well.
Had a full haste set (walahara, haidate, dusk gloves+1 dusk ledelsens+1, swift belt) and then a WS set ofc, adaman hauberk, temp torque/gorgets, the works.

I also played with BST/WAR a bit, it's good, but you do pull hate and get the living shit beat out of you..Skoffin's were never nice ;[

Very funny SE, at least I know that we'll be safe with salvage :D We're always paired up with WAR and DRK when it comes to gear sets, so we won't be lacking in that department!

Silly Lordwafik, that Skadi body is great for Beastmaster! Don't you see that ranged accuracy on it? That's so that when you use your jug pets and pet food, they won't miss as often.

I still love my fuzzy, but yea getting a mepo is hard. Since my last one I got temp axe, soil gorget, capped call beast merits, axe merits, adaberk and some other goodies, but no one will take me out. Still fun to use tho- I can solo stuff like thf knife item droppers without magic aggro concerns and easy crowd control etc. Fun for assaults. All that stuff. I think it's a fun job but it seems awfully intentional that there are NO spots with EM+T mobs for a bst to solo xp on. Lame.

Still have 3 levels to go on my BST, love it despite its flaws. For me its solo-onry, I use it as a job to tool around on and as a break from all that crazy pulling on BRD.

BST soloing flamingoes in Sky is just about the mellowest and most fun leveling I've done in ages, so relaxing.

Flamingos and Pots were really relaxed. I missed it so much I took my bard up there as a 72BRD/BST to do a large chunk of xp and to finish skilling dagger. Too bad there's no decent 75 camps in ToAU or I'd solo more often on BST.

I'm still waiting for the final nail in the coffin, which to me would be fixing the charm rate of bst subjob when you have bst lvled to 75. I can totally see a nerf like that being done.

I think that would be made of suck, because right now, I've been lvling my nin from 70-72 on nin/bst and I intend to solo to 75... I just hope it doesn't get nerfed before that. And I don't see why it should be nerfed, since you did INDEED level beast main to 75 already... Yes a /bst can still charm, but if they're beastmasters level isn't the same level as your main job.. charm rate goes down dramatically.

It would really blow though because I intend to level all my future jobs on /bst during the 70-75 haul

And wafik... so many lifedrinker lars's on your server... the last one sold on ours (bahamut) in like...november :'( BTW, isn't chopsuey chucky supposed to be uncapped like LL too?

except, charm+ isn't really needed unless you're trying to charm anything T+, even then the duration isn't increased that much, if you want to keep a pet, thats what familiar is for. Only beneficial pieces of af2 is the head (for charm) and hands for call beast, other pieces are kinda blah IMO

Something like "animal form" would be cool- you just pop the ability to change into some animal form (I don't really care what kind) and perhaps for the duration you can not be aggrod by monsters? Dunno, would be fun here and there.

The feet are ok with 5acc 5atk and some limited mp hp and -enmity. It's like an Amir-1. Better than Adaman I guess.
