How do they work?
How do they work?
Each time one comes around, Tiamat either pops or he doesn't. On the last one, if he hasn't popped yet, he will.

rofl, so much win.
3 days after the ToD it opens. Mini-windows are on the ToD and follow after in 30 minute intervals. Last window is exactly 5 days after ToD.
For those playing at home, that's 96 possible pop times.Originally Posted by Therin

I'm sorry, but your information could not be more wrong. Tiamat is female, and thusly should not be called "he".Originally Posted by Khamsin

Yeah, he does behave just like that, you know, in a manner in which men like that behave. Men are so typical.

when I point that out :/ How I long to be in an LS with more OCD mythology nerds like myself!
Don't get me started on a diatribe about Tiamat should be a water-based dragon instead of fire. Seriously, it gets ugly. I start making horrible remarks about the family members of the CoP team. Just awful.Originally Posted by chesh
I'm sure you can find better reasons to imply that the CoP team's collective mothers may have, in fact, taken money in exchange for sex (possibly with creatures that no right minded human would ever think to have sex with) than getting Tiamat's element wrong...Originally Posted by Septimus
My LS for the most part calls her 'she,' and I always correct everyone who says 'he,' and scream every time I saw a reference to her as "Timmy" in a blog which I no longer read. ;D
SE failure to comprehend Western Mythology irks me. SE uses names from Norse mythology for certain Relic Weapons but with no mythology attached to it. (e.g. Gjallarhorn is the horn that calls forth Ragnarok, the battle for the end of the world... It's born from the Tree of Life. So why is the last cut scene for it in Cape Terrigan as opposed to The Boyhada Tree and the dipshit BRD you talk to says to play for people's enjoyment?)
Oh not to mention the biggest faliure of Western Mythology.. sea. Once again they annoyingly use names and a few other tidbits here and there for whatever their end is (guess they think it's cool?).
Four Cardinal Virtues: prudence, temperance, fortitude, and justice
Three Theological Virues: faith, hope and charity (love)
SE once again uses names but has them grouped oddly.
It's populated by angels (aerns) with they big bad boy at the end being the archangel Raphael (Absolute Virtue) angel of air (lol aeroga IV). It could be a lot better if they actually developed it with some sort of perspective, like why on earth do we actually want to defeat virtue?
Sky on the other hand, is actually fairly well developed and based upon Eastern Mythology.
So they just peacemeal it when it comes to Western Mythology. They throw out some names but don't actually develop it.
Yes, Tiamat should be a fucking water dragon damn it (and female) (but I still call her Timmy).
It annoys me to no end.![]()
