Favorite Bar

In NJ my favorite bar is Jakes because I know all of the bartenders so the drinks are pretty much free and the food is amazing there. It's a pretty tight sports bar with 6+ huge TVs playing everything from Scrubs to the Yankees games.

I do pretty much all of my bar drinking in manhattan, dont care for the bar scene in brooklyn much, take that into account when these "deals" sound overpriced already hah.

the continental, any 5 shots for $10, $4 pints of yeungling and blue moon, $3 mixed drinks. good crowd usually, awesome jukebox, mcdonalds next door for when you need food. only drawback is the guy running the door is a dick and walks around with a goofy samurai hat.

2x4, shitty prices regularly, like $5 for a corona, $4 for a mixed drink. BUT they have stripper poles on the bar and girls love booze and dancing on bars! deals on saturdays are cool, 9-12, $10 all you can drink bud/bud light, they hook you up with a wristband and a red "college party" cup, go to town. this is followed by 12-2 $3 well drinks. good jukebox (need it for the dancing girls on the bar) unfortunately they let people smoke in there, and its usually filled with unwashed semi-trendy people, can be a bit of a snooze. usually at some of the night i regret going there, or have a ball when i didn't want to go there to begin with.

Depends on mood, some of my top faves:

A bar called "Last Chance" in Sannomiya (Kobe).. it's little and really chill, with AWESOME mixed drinks. (Kahlua punch is soooo good) and they give you free tequila shots!

I also really like this Gay Bar in Umeda (Osaka).. I forget what it's called, I'm not gay, but the 'mama-san' there is such an awesome and friendly bartender, it makes me want to go back and just hang out with him :D

When I wanna go out with a big group I love izakaya's, it's comfortable (typical: sitting on pillows on tatami) and has most have separators you can pull down to give it a "private party" kind of vibe. Though eventually everyone gets drunk enough to put them up and start making friends with people around you.

I haven't really found anything here that makes me like them for being cheap.. so expensive everywhere. ;o;

I have a bar near to the city center (here in Brussels) that carries over 3000 different kinds of beers. I think they also brag about 700 different Belgian beers. It's quite iconic, I think...

I have never got any of the high end shots, I normally get the Bartender specials called Malley shot or Skittles shot.
Malley has 4 liquors mixed, Skittles has 7. Sorry I cant say whats in them.
