Technically that's asking of the color of the adaman cuirass.

Also! The description of the mission says that the items must be of that color to allow you to see the cutscene, while wearing my adaman hauberk I was not allowed to the palace so uh... it's techically not a "deep purple armor"

Edit: That said, it also apparently doesn't fall into the description of "Blue with a gold trim" used for the noble's tunic.

I voted 7. But it's kind of like I have 2 votes but can only pick one. The shoulders look more like 4. The chest section is closer to 7.


Just as an fyi, every person who I have ever had look at the pic here at work with me (who have never played FFXI or anything similar to it) ALL say it is purple without a doubt.


I have never had a single person say blue or even close to blue.

6 and 7 look exactly the same to me, can't figure out why 6 has way more votes than 7. Same thing with 4 and 5, they look like the same RGB values.

i have a friend that didnt know he was red/green colourblind until we took an anatomy/physiology course together where the unit was vision, and we looked at those coloured dots with numbers in the middle ... he holds up one of the cards and is like.. "wtf is this supposed to be?" ...
he wasnt able to read the number and thought we were all just messing with his mind pretending there was actually something to see lol

he wasnt really shocked though... he said it explained a few things in his life lol....

#4 is closest, but not the exact colour.

The Adaburk has always been more a shade of Indigo or, more accurately Persian Indigo that's at about 80% saturation (which I suppose would make it a different colour but let's not split hairs here.)
