RAM question

I have a computer with 2x PCI2100 512mb ram sticks.

I have another computer with 1x PCI3200 512mb ram.

can i take both sticks of 512 PCI2100 and put them in the computer with the PCI3200(obviously taking out the PCI3200 to do this)

depends are they the same # of pins?

and depending on your MB if it dosent requir them in pairs u could leave the PCI3200 and put the 2 others in from what i understand

i made a post about this myself a month or 2 back and thats same anser i got more or less and it helped so there u go

well it only has 2 ram slots so i was gonna put in both of the same speed.

ahh well most comps have 4 slots just assumed

yes it should work, as long as the chips are of the same number of pins

1 chip of 3200 and 1 of 2100 should work too, but kind of pointless.
