Players targetable during charm = PKable.
Players not targetable during charm = players get charmed, beat down anything in area. I really don't like the idea of not being able to disable people in Besieged after a Charmga.
Last time I was up there, we had a pack of RMT garbage names gang-nuke the bat, then try and fry the player fighting Pallas. It wasn't just the other way around.
Needs to be a way for both bat and Pallas to spawn (and stay) claimed by the popper. They already said this was a temp solution, hopefully it'll be resolved in a way that keeps Pallas dangerous.

Why is it that BST & DRG NM 2-hour abilities are not the same as their real-job counterparts? In example, Pallas will charm someone as his 2hr if his pet has been killed. I know that killing his pet is really easy, in comparisson to mobs around the area, but why not just strengthen the pet to make it a little bit of a challenge? While, of course, keeping it claimed to the popper. And if the pet is dead when it's ready for Familiar, then so be it. A lost 2 hour.
And then with DRG's. Dynamis DRG's "Call Wyvern" as their two hour. Why not have them call a wyvern as soon as they're popped, and then allow them to Spirit Surge?
All this is just a little confusing to me, and seems like severe favoritism towards certain jobs who get to maintain their normal abilities, where as others, yet again, get gimped.
Drg mobs in Metal Chip Temenos use Spirit Surge. BST NMs in dynamis and other places use familiar if you don't kill their pets.Originally Posted by riddaraan
