a little tough to read, but this is the pop data i've compiled so far with some relevant statistics. i'm not trying to say anything with them, not trying to imply or lead anyone's opinion. this is just a factual compilation of the day/time/moon/etc. when i saw a given mob. i didn't record the statistics on when i didn't see the mob because this would obviously overfil my hard drive with all of those entries.

    mob Day Date Time Moon
Gate Thunder 12/4/1049 Night 100% Full
Gate Thunder 7/26/1022 Day 50% First Quarter
Skirmish Thunder 7/26/1022 Night 50% First Quarter
Gate Earth 3/30/1051 Day 31% Waxing Crescent
Skirmish Water 10/21/1051 Day 90% Waning Gibbous
Gate Fire 5/9/1052 Night 19% Waining Crescent
Peryton Earth 5/10/1052 Night 17% Waining Crescent
Skirmish Thunder 3/10/1053 Night 100% Full
Gate Ice 9/5/1053 Night 86% Waining Gibbous
Skirmish Ice 5/5/1055 Night 57% Last Quarter Moon
Gate Water 4/25/1056 Day 24% Waining Crescent

Is it really considered necro if nothing definitively was ever determined? :3

My group has only seen the bees like once ever in almost a year We've tried other things that other groups do just short of sacrificing a chicken to whatever eldritch dieties Sage Sundi might worship.

There has to be something we're doing wrong although we're going to try waxing/waning gibb the next few tries.

My group has been decently lucky in Bhaflau past year. Out of all the entries we get pops from at least 1 rampart over half the runs. (Pops not necessarily equals drops).

We usually do 2 ramparts (about half to full time each) depending on the cell drops and timing.

    Typical path = 1F/2F/3F > 4F > Boss

I also kept track of moon-phase, time information for the past year's Bhaflau runs but the data is utterly random.

I have also seen pops on every day of the week, any time of the day, and at any hp % you can think of so not much relationship there.

As for the usual practice of killing a rampart by 50% if no pops, that is due to probability of pops in the last 50%. I have seen the first pop at 13% before so it is not entirely impossible either.

kind of off topic, but kind of not off topic. The last 2 rampart runs ive done after the big patch, we saw at least 3 pops on every rampart we did. I dont know if its luck, or if something was tweaked. we ended up with only freyas mask to show for 13 NMs, but just seeing them pop was nice. We had 3 bees and 3 perytons one run, and 4 gate widows and 3 bees in the next. I am not sure if this is just random luck, or if something was changed, has anyone else had higher than normal pop rate?

Group A and Group B enter Bhaflau Remnants at the exact same time: 68% Waxing Gibbous, 15:51 game time, Darksday.

Group A has a Galka party leader, gets full gear unlock in 24 minutes and 16 seconds, goes to 1f rampart and sees 7 Gate Widow, of which 0 drop.

Group B has a Mithra party leader, gets full gear unlock in 27 minutes and 44 seconds, goes to 1f Rampart and sees 4 Gate Widow, of which 3 drop.

    Solve for X.

maybe the wrong place to post this, but i noticed something interesting (i think) while doing my past few BR runs. my assumption is that this is irrelevant, however i have insufficient data to bury it quite yet. is there any information indicating on which side of floor3/which corner of floor2 you will pop in after activating the dormant rampart? i have noticed that it is not always consistent which side you pop on and it seems an odd behavior for the developers to add if it had no relevance. does anyone have any data on which area they popped in and if it had any consistency? can anyone even confirm for sure that this even happens and that i'm not just crossing my records between 2 different ramparts?

Hmmm I don't quite get what you mean. Do you mean which side the dormant rampart will pop? or do you mean where the group spawn in rampart room after clicking the dormant rampart?

EDIT : nvm, I think you meant the 2nd one.
For that, I didn't notice which side of rampart room we spawn, but one time I checked, it was on the West side (forgot which floor)

yeah. i do mean the latter. i was informally jotting it down on the map, relying on my shittacular memory to remember if it was for peryton or zebra that i marked on floor 2. the reason i asked this, though i'm running on absolutely no proof (which is why i was shying away from mentioning it lest it be shunned as the ebon panel it likely is) was that if my markings are right, the day we had skirmish pop 7 times we popped on the north side, though if memory serves (and yesterday night backed it up) we popped on the south side. i'm interested if there is a possible correlation between if a rampart is "active" and if it's "dead". if (and this is obviously a titanic if) such a correlation exists, it would at the very least let us determine if a rampart is dead without milking it for 20 minutes, and use the time to tackle another rampart or the boss. atm i'm only digging for enough data, even anecdotal, to determine if this is worth tracking or if this is just pure hogwash as i suspect.

I've put map markers down whenever we do ramparts and every time i have/have not seen a NM its been in the same room as the marker. It might be a different story for when they drop, but i'll have to get back to you about that. Pulling from memory and online maps~ 3F and 4F ramparts use the 2F map, 1F and 2F ramparts use the 3F map. I know for the 2F map its the two south rooms, but which are for which I dont remember. Though every time i've ported in i've checked and i'm standing on my marker facing the rampart.

    Did another rampart again tonight:
    2F Pudding kill order :
S->E->N->W (Rampart), enter around 21:00ish Firesday, group popped in North room after clicking rampart, end around 0:40 Earthsday, 0 SP

    3F. Last gear death : E side -> E rampart
Group popped in SW room after clicking rampart, 5 ZZ popped. We took SE path from 2F to 3F, if that matters.

I really really think the Baf rampart are influenced by the day.

Today was the 2nd time a Rampart was "ON" spitting out 2-3 NMs from like 95 to 60. Then a daychange occured and no NM was seen till 0%.

i've seen the same thing, but i've never been able to reliably predict what days a rampart will be "on" and what days "off." i've come up with wild conjectures to try to correlate w/ my data regarding the date being a multiple of something or some bizzare hashing of the moon and date but nothing seems to be coming out of it and they're too ebon panel to post w/o being run out of town for even mentioning them w/o evidence.

What you are saying is that you get ported to a different room depending on whether or not the Rampart will be "on" or not? Wouldn't that mean there are 2 Reactionary Ramparts for each floor, one being "on" and the other "off"? It could potetionally save some time if you can determine a rampart being "on" or "off" before you waste 10+ minutes killing NQ pops. If that would be the case it would be much more likely/easier to try all and check all Reactionary Ramparts in 1 run + boss instead of just 1 or 2 + boss.

I agree, I've seen similar things and have spoken to Lyra a bit about it.. I also think 1 rampart is always "on", but its difficult to prove this. We go into bhaf and do each rampart to 50 until 1 pops and about 75% of the time we'll get 1 NM at least from any given rampart.. possibly the 25% being the one we skipped being on.. but no real proof to this, just my experiences

if its a random day... and it always seems to change when the day changes... might it not be that theres an ingame date that these NM's pop on? SE seems to love obscure pop conditions...
