Mean Look
Night Shade
Sp. Def and HP EVs I'm thinking. I'm hoping to be able to Curse and follow up with Pain Split. Night Shade for guaranteed 100 dmg, and Mean Look to Night Shade ad infinitum

Curse is so lame. Too much work to set up.

Think of it this way:

You curse. Lose 50% hp and at the end of the turn they lose 25%. They're much guarenteed to switch out that's a waste. Let's say you decide to mean look first then curse. The problem is now nobody that is useless against Dusknoir will stay out so the chances of getting someone who can't do anything for 2 turns is extremely low. Basically, the only real use for mean look is with perish song.

I like dusknoir with ice punch/thunder punch/pain split/____. Where the last spot is something like Will-o-wisp, trick room (if you have a trick room team), night shade, shadow sneak etc.

It annoys and walls the shit out of almost anythnig you face. Sure, Snorlax and Blissey give you a bit of trouble since they're immune to Night Shade, meaning you won't be able to finish them off. However, Pain Split will take a nice chuck of hp out of a Blissey or Snorlax.
