Yea, but it has the same odds, which are pretty low (1 in 8192 or something like that). They had a way of lowering the odds in the GS era by having shiny parents (1 in 64 with a shiny Ditto), but that changed. You can sort of make it easier by using the PokeTour, but the odds don't go up by much, and you have to get a high chain of running into/beating the same Pokemon over and over again, apparently even seeing another Pokemon can break the chain.

Luxray is not only my cutest/coolest looking pokemon but he's also my electric pokemon. I find that he's really fast, and not only does he get crunch but he gets thunder fang also which is awesome. Plus you can teach him any thunder/dark move you want.

I'd say he's a better bet than a pikachu, and he looks alot cooler.

I decided to hang around the Victory Road and level my main team a bit since the exp is pretty good. I have:

Torterra 49
Lucario 44
Manaphy 44
Spiritomb 44
Golem 40
Staraptor 40

I want to replace most of them after I unlock my National Dex, and I want to start Pal Parking asap to get my "real team" going, so I might just ditch half of them and throw in those 3 Psychic trio Pokemon I went after, or Dialga, but I'm not sure what to teach them, and I know at least one Elite 4 member uses heavy Psychic types. I'll figure it out after my reports are written i guess.

I don't understand the pokeradar...I use it and the bush to my right wiggles, but the one infront of me doesn't, but when I run into the bush infront of me I still get thrown into battle....wtf

You can still get random encounters using radar, if you get them it breaks the chain of appearances (up to 5 i think)

it might be holding an everstone which would make it unable to evolve, that's what happened with mine

It'll evolve, it just takes a long time, cause of happiness. Do you have the Soothe Bell thingy yet, and make sure she's not using one of those stones that makes your pokemon not evolve, mine was holding one when I caught it I think.

Light ball is at least possible in Pearl,carried by wild Pikachus. (Second TV I looked in Pearl mentions it ).

Do imports from the GSA cartridge have held items based on D/P or the older series?

Okay can someone help me out, because I'm really starting to get annoyed.

The 5th gym leader isn't there, as she hasn't been since the beginning of teh fucking game. I can't go to Sunnyshore because of the blackout, I can't go to Celestic because of the Psyduck, I can't go to Snowpoint because I don't have Strength, and I can't go to Canalave because I don't have Surf. Where the fuck am I supposed to go or get if all the major paths are blocked off because the 5th gym leader is a stupid bitch?

in pestoria or whatever, the water gym, you chase that team galactic guy out of town (hes in the north part by safari, then he runs to gate, you fight rival) and then chase him along the beach and up towards lake valor, you meet that chick and she gives you potion to move psyducks, you go to the ducks, use potion, go to celest city or whatever its called which is north of the ducks (bring a pokemon with defog) get your surf there, then go back to the 5th gym and beat her ass. run-ons are fun.

im a fond user of pikachu cause imo its pretty cute
dont evolve it, if you get a modest/mild pikachu with good ivs and max SATK/SPD EV and make it hold a light ball, it'll fare a lot better than a raichu

pikapika is a 1shot all-or-nothing attacker in competitive play, and even then he/she is not so strong i still like it though lol

if anyone needs a light ball, ill give volt tackle pichus (modest female, perfect IV, (iron tail / thunderbolt / shock wave / volt tackle) with light balls away once i get my FUCKING HANDS ON SOME TYPE OF GODDAMN WIFI CONNECTION

Finally got to the 3rd gym with my ape @lvl50, lol 1shots.

Has anyone had any luck with the damn slot machines? I used up all my free coins and not even one win D: NPCs mention something about clefary and red moon, but ive never seen anything. I want TM35 >.x

why the fuck do you have level 50 pokemon at the third gym? I think it's stupid to overlevel in this game early since a) you REALLY don't have to, and b) you can catch the same species of low level pokemon in the end but now they're level 50s, so you don't have to waste your time.
