im a fond user of pikachu cause imo its pretty cute
dont evolve it, if you get a modest/mild pikachu with good ivs and max SATK/SPD EV and make it hold a light ball, it'll fare a lot better than a raichu

pikapika is a 1shot all-or-nothing attacker in competitive play, and even then he/she is not so strong i still like it though lol

if anyone needs a light ball, ill give volt tackle pichus (modest female, perfect IV, (iron tail / thunderbolt / shock wave / volt tackle) with light balls away once i get my FUCKING HANDS ON SOME TYPE OF GODDAMN WIFI CONNECTION

Why the fuck do your Modest Pikachus have Iron Tail lol, If you're attempting to take out a Rock/Ice Poke without stab, low atk Pikachu, 100 base power move, you're out of your mind. Volt Tackle is equally stupid in this gen.

Use Surf/TBolt/TWave/DTeam. And don't fool yourself into using a Pikachu with Light Ball, that's for novelty. The boost in SpA is insignificant compared to the loss in speed. Pikachu is too slow (90) to be cocky enough to stay in on any pokemon really except a few. In which case your opponent has to be dumb to leave someone slow out who can be stabbed by Elec/Water. Pikachu is 300 BST, Riachu is 475 BST, nuff said.

TWave/Tbolt/Charm/SweetKiss is equally as fun as the above set, but you lose Surf because you can't breed the event Pikachu for Surf onto a Pichu Moveset.

I'm curious can people just gameshark these pokemon and put them up onto Wifi with the info saying caught in PalPark, or does the trainer info from the actual game it's from get used. Hi2u 4x Ground weak. Ground, in particular, Earfquake, is one of if not the most common move in the metagame of Pokemon. He is only good at predicting into Fire type moves (if you had a grass out and the opponent switches to a fire, switch to him so he absorbs the fire), then bust out an Overheat or something equally poweful (Fire Blast if you're a risk taker) and then put a serious dent into whatever the opponent will most likely switch to. This way he doesn't take any hits but can still deal decent damage. But he sucks as a pokemon really.

also... i can hook people up with grondon/kyogre/rayquoza/latias/any firered/leafgreen/emerald pkmn that arnt event/exclusive once i get wifi, so if anyone has jirachi/deoxys/lugia/hooh/mew/serebi/johto starters... hook me up please

Don't need any of those, what nature/IV spread if your Rayquaza though, I might take that for any of the pokemon you mentioned needing. (I have all the legendaries, legit from every gen except D/P obviously.)

Kenai I have a Gold and a Crystal version, but I've been so out of the newer games (since Sapphire, only recently picked up LG) that I have no idea whatsoever how to get any of the pokemon from there onto Pearl. How the hell do you transfer from GBC to NDS lol.

You can't trade from and old GBC Pokemon to Advanced Gen Pokemon (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen/Pearl/Diamond). They changed the way EVs work and added abilities and also changed the way IVs work with Shinies and other stuff, so they don't want trading from those games for obvious exploitation reasons.

No, only way to get them is to go to a nintendo sanctioned event and hook yoself up wif one. On that note I have two, Lugia is a fuckin beast and they still haven't really replaced him so I'm happy I can use him still.

Quick question: The Pokedex includes entries like Lugia. However, there is no GBA version of G/S...I'm assuming you'd have to get it some other way?

and for special/attack: check the move description, it says if it's special or physical.

There are two ways to get a Totodile, both are exasperating:

Catch the Croconaw on Pokemon Collosseum, then purify it and beat the game so you can transfer it to a R/S pak for Pal parking.

Completely fill out the Hoenn Pokedex in Emerald, then Birch will let you pick one of the 3 Johto starters.

Both suck so bad, and I can't trade for it on the GTS if I've never seen one...

When you go over the move in the summary of your pokemon, it has a "Category" above the power of the move. That icon shows if it's Physical (red and orange thingy), Special (purple with circles) or None (Yin-Yang symbol).
