Damn you all... After finding out what Lucky Egg did, I've been hunting those retarded looking things all afternoon. Still no Lucky Egg

Later game (Elite 4) it seems HyperBeam sucks balls on Gyrados... I'd use it and it'd do less than his other moves with much lower damage ratings even when both were physical and neutral weakness.

Your hyper Beam sucks because it's based on special attack, not regular attack like previous games.

Yup.

Gyarados's Sp.A sucks, and in Gen IV, Hyper Beam is special instead of physical, since whichever a move is isn't reliant on the move's type anymore. They made Giga Impact to replace physical Hyper Beam.
