What Tonko said. The worse case is OMG you lose 7k and have to restart, whereas if you save right before you can keep retrying the one you're on and if it was a fluke that they won last time, you can just own them the next time by restarting.Originally Posted by HAcoreRD

I don't think my setup is right, that's what costs me. I got brilliant offense, but my team all relys on first move and is incapable of 1 shotting, or sustaining alot of damage. maybe I should Grind somewhere to 50-52 before attempting?
If you're consistently losing then it wouldn't hurt to level up or get new pokemon. I caught a Steelix and a Medicham(sp?) right in that cavern before the E4 building and raped Cynthia with them on my team.
my Pokemanz @ Elite Four: lost at end pokemon b/c i didn't buy medicines
Palkia 63
Infernape 60
Empoleon 60
Lucario 60
Luxray 62
Haunter 60
yeah, your team has like 10+ lvls on me.
Cynthia 1 shots 1/2 my team lol
Is the nature of a pokemon born from breeding just random? I've filled up a box and a half with Eevees now from my Eevee + Ditto breeding combo, and not a single one has been Bold. Am I doing something wrong, or just shitty luck?
The best thing I did for the Elite Four was catching a Golbat on Victory Road, evolving it to Crobat, and using it as a Hazer. Maybe it was just me, but the Elite Four used way too many stat-altering moves.
How do you track pokemon? The guy said something about a Poketech, but I havent been able to find it.
The Poketch app with the shapes at the bottom (star, diamond, circle, etc).
Leave it on for about 10 seconds and a face will appear, which is the current location of one of the wandering pokemon. You can have two at a time (Cresselia and Mesprit), but there's no way of telling them apart.
As far as catching them, any time you fly, it will teleport to a completely new location, then move randomly among the routes near it. Use a Repel and make your lead pokemon higher level than the pokemon in the surrounding area, but lower than the legendary. HP and status will remain, except Confuse and the like.
Cresselia and Mesprit are, I believe, both Lv.50.
I think you get most of the apps for the Poketch from whichever city you first get it in (Jubilife?) by talking to the president inside the building, pretty sure he's on the first floor right in front. I like zoning in and out of Jubilife and the routes around it constantly to force Mespirit to keep hopping around, but sometimes it looks like it's in the route right above it when in reality you have to cut through somewhere to reach the spot it's at.
They didn't actually use that many on me, but they'd always surprise me by pulling out a move I wasn't expecting that whoever I had out happened to be weak to. I thought they were sort of predictable in that they wouldn't switch out if I used Yawn to put something to sleep, but whenever I got it to red HP, out comes the Full Restore.Maybe it was just me, but the Elite Four used way too many stat-altering moves.
I do need to replace a few things in my team though, I might try Crobat for the sake of variety if not for Haze.
Where do you get that App?Originally Posted by Priran
