IF 20 turns have passed, * 3
IF 10 turns have passed, * 2

Why I pack a bunch of these on any legendary/long fight type that isn't going to flee the battle. Stretching a battle to 30 turns isn't tough at all, and even 10 turns = Ultra Ball odds for a catch.

Shiny is just for the little extra feeling you get knowing the pokemon is a bit more unique that every other generic pokemon. I don't care what a shiny looks like, the stars when it enters battle are the best part imo.

Best way to catch: Quick balls to 10 turns, Ultra balls (dark if night/cave) to 30, then Timer balls.

Also, it's worth noting, breeding for a shiny is much smarter because having a shiny from the wild you can't control it's stats, it could have shitty stats and you can't get egg moves onto it. So breeding for a shiny if you're aiming for one is the better way to go if you're interested in actually using it.

You can throw Hypnosis on for switches after Wisping. It's not a bad annoyer and fucks over any kind of sweep they wanted to set up with Burn (-atk).

Mine sucks, I'll be honest. It's just cute. And shiny vulpix look the exact same, and I kind of prefer the non-shiny ones. It's the shiny ninetails that really looks cool. And yeah I bred about 150+ before not caring anymore haha.

Wisp them, then when they switch out to avoid burnination or whatever, have Hypnosis ready to sleep the new Pokemon.
