I interpreted it as "Wisp the motherfucker, then sleep him so he'll switch."

Wisp them, then when they switch out to avoid burnination or whatever, have Hypnosis ready to sleep the new Pokemon.

That'd be a nice moveset

You can throw Hypnosis on for switches after Wisping. It's not a bad annoyer and fucks over any kind of sweep they wanted to set up with Burn (-atk).

That would be a good moveset unless the other pokemon isn't using physical attacks, is holding a berry that can cure Burn, or switches out for a Dark pokemon.

None of which is exactly a stretch of the imagination.

Nobody uses berries that cure burn lol.
As for Physical Sweepers, most can't outspeed Ninetales with 252 evs in speed and jolly nature. So good luck finding a non uber that does.
Also wtf does a Dark Pokemon have to do with anything? That stops like one variation of the moveset, hardly a stop to the strategy.

Also you are acting as if whoever is playing this Ninetales is forced to stay in. It's quite easy to predict a switch with this set, and you can either: Roar the switch or Wisp/Sleep the switch, hardly a loss. This set isn't meant to omg this can BEAT anything, it is meant to put a few annoying debuffs on the opponent and thusly turn the tables in the users favor. Ninetales is UU for a reason.

The standard (good) moveset is supposed to involve a first turn Hypnosis now that it has 70% Acc, then using Nasty Plot when they switch out the sleeping Poke, followed by a sweep. I don't remember what the 4th move is, but Flamethrower for spot 3 (I'm guessing an Electric or Grass attack).

What do you even need Master Balls for? Everything has been pretty easy to catch for me (Azelf was fairly annoying, but nothing a Dusk Ball couldn't catch).

I found a tile with Feebas today, I spent something like 3 hours running around the ground floor and the room with the waterfall fishing on the vague advice that it was in "the water around Mt. Coronet" before reading somewhere on Bulbapedia that it's in the basement. 5th tile in there, figures. If you're going to go hunting for it I'd say to check the basement first so you don't waste hours like I did.

Yeah ok, you blow 252 EVs on Speed as I laugh and either oneshot your pokemon or laugh as its super-effective attacks don't do 1/8th my pokemon's HP.

What's up with EVs? See if I understand this.

EVs stop being registered after 510.
Every poke your poke kills adds to its EVs, depending on what that poke awards.
All EVs start at 0 for hatched & caught pokes, traded pokes come with EVs intact.
EVs increase the chance of getting higher level up bonuses? Or do they flat out increase how much you get?
Max of 256 for any one stat.
Pokerus doubles EVs earned.
Macho Brace doubles EVs earned.

Dont bother, just use quick balls, or dusk balls at night I guess; I caught a golbat with mean look, the mesprit still ran after 1 turn after it was used.

Give a pokemon the quick claw item (allows you to attack first sometimes) and get it down to low HP, then just throw a ball at each encounter.
