Looking for an Electrizer to help finish up my team.
Not sure what anyone would want for one. Have a few masterballs left and can breed for eggs of stuff like skarmory, ghastly, riolu, mudkip, larvitar, eevee, chimchar, bagon, gligar, heracross, staryu, magikarp, and phione.

How'd you get Spirtomb Jimmayus?
Also, I like your team only gripe I have is with the Luxray, he is too slow to be that confident especially against a Dugtrio Switch in. One Earthquake and he's done. Otherwise, I like it.
His Special Attack is also kinda low as well. ;/Originally Posted by Maguspk

Anyone have or wanna catch me an Elekid >.x? Well I guess nvm.. Electrizer is hard to get.
That doesn't matter, his Luxray is focused on Physical Electric attacks.Originally Posted by Scythiroth

it's just my prospective team lol, I dont' have any yet (till summer in 5 days).
What do you think would be a good alternative? I used to use
Lanturn
Thunderwave
Confuse Ray
Thunderbolt
Surf
but I wanted to see if there are any other good electric pokes for my updated team
I think ill try getting a magakid(w/e) with its item and trade on gamefaqs, seems people do that.Originally Posted by Tonko

Magbys usually have their trade item held when you catch 'em too. They're good for hatching eggs quick too.
5% chance with item on, and seems like a 5% chance to even have a magby pop D:
Really? 5% chance for them to have an item? You sure about that, cuz I cuaght 2 and they both had one.
So says the faqs and forums.. but I dunno, 5% isnt too bad after being used to .01% items in RO.
Regarding the 3x EXP share thing, I just tried with my Lv. 47 Floatzel (non-traded). Against a level 3 wild Bidoof, it got 24 EXP with and without EXP share, and against a CPU trainer level 43 Luxio, it received 1077 EXP with and without EXP share. Since Tonko confirmed it doesn't work with traded Pokemon, I have no idea where this rumour came about. I'm guessing someone used it on a pokemon, switched to another, defeated the opponent's pokemon, and saw the one with the EXP share getting 3x more than the one without, when it's actually only 3/4th compared to 1/4th of total EXP received... >_>
Can anyone who it worked for state the exact conditions in which it works, if that wasn't the case?
Original Infernape vs lvl52 Fearow = 347 xp by a one shot flame wheel.
With EXP Share on, same mob/lvl = 1041
Simple way to test: Find a doubles battle
Poke 1: Exp Share
Poke 2: Not exp share.
Kill one fast. Exp will be 1/2 on The Poke2 and 3/2 on Poke1.
Magmarizer and Electirizer are both 5% in one version, 50% in the other.
Uh... 347 EXP sounds WAY too low for a Lv. 52 Fearow. A fully evolved level 52 poke gives less EXP than a Lv. 43 half-evolved one? >_> Something doesn't seem right about that...
Edit: Try it against the level 3 Bidoofs west of Sandgem Town, what do you get?
I haven't tried it in double battles yet, but if it ONLY works against double battles, it's going to have very little usability anyway. And that's still 2x EXP, not 3x, assuming your EXP value given for the first defeated poke is correct.Originally Posted by Falconblade
