The Pokemon D/P Thread

Basically, he means IVs/natures don't matter much for ingame, and it would be much easier just breeding after you finish the basic story and have access to dittos.

Yea, damn it! I bought Pearl me and Diamond for my cousin! I shoulda got all the starters too....Wasn't thinking! Arggg! And he's farther then I am! Stupid job!! But I got the 2nd badge now. That evolved Rose was a bitch, but my Turtwig pwned it with Cut after I boosted it up with Curse. Magical Leaf hurts!

The bird evo in D/P that you have access to early on, Starly, is an extremely good pokemon. I currently have one planned for my final team. It's ability to get Somersault is part of that; it's insanely high Attack and moderately high speed aren't anything to ignore either. It's a really well rounded flying type.

Edit: Somersault is called U-Turn in US version lol. My bah~ That's a horrible translation for what the move does though.

Staravia//Staraptor went through Gym 2 and 3 respectivly on their own with little resistance. Only problem was Lucario and drain punch which was fucking irritating >_>. Currently using that, Luxray (fully evolved shinx) and Grotle just evolved into Torterra. I have that stupid beaver too but he is just an HM whore >_>.

Anyone know what hatches from the egg you get from that npc in the day care town? Been running around with it forever.

Um.. Torterra rocks once he gets Earthquake, but it's pretty hard through the first 3 or so gyms.

Honestly the most fun I had in this was with the Battle Towers. It's the most strategic you can get in this game (lol @ random number generator), but can get REALLY frustrating.

If you guys have any questions I can try and answer, I wasn't on for the full duration of the project, just the last half, but I played through 2-3 times. Most of my playtime was on the battle tower and wi-fi.

It hatches into a Happiny, Chansey's pre-evo.
