1) Put the pokemon you want to evolve up for offer on the GTS. If you're scared of someone taking it, just put it up for an outragous offer, like a level 9 or under Giratina.

2) Go to "seek pokemon", find a pokemon to trade for, and complete at least 1 trade.

3) Retrieve the pokemon you put up for offer. Upon returning, it will evolve.


I want to know if I can do this with a normal pkmn and get 2x XP liek a traded one would.

won't work, since it's still caught by you originally. what that glitch thinks has happened is you traded the pkmn to someone, who cancelled the evolving, then traded it back to you.

Should I try to max out Leaf Green before I play this? I heard you transfer pokemon from that one to this one.

Maybe not max out, but two things you should know:

- You can transfer 6 per GBA game per 24 hours, so if you had leaf green, fire red, ruby, emerald, sapphire you could get... 30?
- You can buy stones in the Celadon department store, give them to pokemon to hold, and then take them off after transferring them. Much easier than mining or whatever for them.

The only thing I want right now is a Milotic, I have like 20 feebas right now and only one of them had a good nature to shoot for one, and even then I'm having a horrible time with poffins. I don't mind trading for junk though, you just have to catch me when I'm on and all the eggs are hatched.

There was posted a way to breed pokemon using Dittos with everstones to get the nature you wanted. You just need to go find/breed a bunch of different natured Dittos.

I guess I could give you one, it's my Milotic but I suppose I could just make another one. I think it'd be more important to have those starters at the moment.

Another way is that if you put a pokemon with the ability Synchronize in the lead (Abra, Ralts), you're more likely (garaunteed? Im not sure) to encounter pokemon with the same nature.

Granted, catching an Abra with the right nature is probably a bitch too, but once you have a bunch of them with the natures you want, you'll be all good.

Yeah, the EXP thing doesnt work, but I did just verify the evolving thing.. Aside from trying to find a legit trade, my elecabuzz w/ its item evolved after taking it back down.

Wow, as much as I've had gripes with gamefaqs forums in the past, I made out pretty well just now. Traded some Aerodactyls, Ralts, Kabuto, and Scythers for Johto and Hoenn starter Pokemon.
