Btw to people who are sadface about the time it takes to hatch eggs:

There's a straight route of about 220 steps through Solaceon Town - it's a straight shot from where the Psyducks are/were north of town, and the Spiritomb rock south of town. Just find the path and bike straight up and down it while watching TV or camping Fafnir or something. Doesn't take very long if you use speed bike.

That's the path I hatched all of my Eevees on, it's nice.

Here's a random question: Is there a "theme" to the city names in the Sinnoh region? Like, in Kanto they were named after colors (Pewter, Cerulean, Vermillion, Saffron), in Johto they were named mostly after trees (Ecruteak, Azalea, Cherrygrove), and in Hoenn they were mostly plants (Lilycove, Mossdeep, Fallarbor). But in Sinnoh there just doesn't seem to be a theme - Jublife, Pastoria, Eterna, Hearthome - they're all unrelated unless I haven't figured it out. I know, really dumb random question but I'm just curious. :wink:

Well...if you get the Pokerus it's pretty easily to tell. I didn't notice at first but now my whole team got infected with it while I was wandering around Stark Mountain. It's this blue/purple label next to your Poke's name. I'm prolly gonna have to run back and box a few of them before it's gone...

If you can pack enough Rare Candies, it's not too bad. Yeah, it means you get crap for DV's. Big deal. You're not going to save the results, just reboot and train anything good.

Check their IV's and HP once you leveled them enough with RC's. If you like- reboot to go back to pre-candy, save, and train properly, then test another one as needed/wanted. If you don't, go back to pre-candy, toss, try another anyway. Chucking 25-30 Candies down a Pokemon's gullet doesn't take all that much time anyway.

Rare Candies actually have no negative side effects, as long as you EV train to 510 at some point in your pokemon's life before it hits level 100.

You can train after 100, you just put it back in the box, and it recalculates the stat exp. This is the way we did it back in the day, and I haven't heard anything about it being changed. There's no real point to levelling to 100 now though.
