    That makes excellent sense. Great reasoning I side with that idea.

    It's the only way to prevent leeches from getting a very powerful weapon (if anyone ever figures out how they work...)

    FF1 & FF2 - Club that does high damage to were-types. Strangely enough, White Mage could not equip it in FF1.
    That's cause in FF1 Werebuster was a sword.

    And for the "unlocks ws's previously unavailable" what about the jobs that already have all their weapon's ws's like MNK, THF, PLD, DRG, WHM, etc...

    I can totally see the devs reading this thread and laughing (with that evil villain laugh of course) because the weapons have no hidden effect and the time/effort people spent to get them is completely wasted

    If they wanted to be really evil they would read this thread and either select the most evil method of unlocking them or take the theory everyone says is too retarded to work and make that the secret to getting them.
    Perhaps we should take note of the ways that relic weapons are made?
    the last stages require ex items that are completely useless otherwise and various items that are semi expensive/require a crafter.
    When an npc that reqests many items of value or an ex item appears in the .dat files we can investigate it if it doesnt already exist.

    I know you were trying to sound dumb, but I think you might be on to something with your Glory Crown idea. >_> Maybe there's some correlation between the two items, hence why SE said that the items would be good eventually, but not good now. (or whatever it was that they said)
