He's talking about making people want to stay in starter cities to reduce congestion/lag in whitegate, rather than just warping there and back to access storage or outpost tele.

Shiva's is way to slow... add to that low dps compared to any other sword i've listed here make it fantasy showoff gear only... i do want it, but just as a reminder of that line of bcnm's.

Probably not, since RDM can equip it. I do believe that the actual Relic Sword model is the same as Gold Sword, but I am not sure if that means anything for the type of weapon the fully upgraded version would be.

they could solve alot of problems by making storage space more accessible

either make alzahbi more accessible from starter zones (perhaps use CP to warp to whitegate); not only will people go back to setting hp in starter cities thus relieving alot of congestion in whitegate, but also have like another 80 slots of storage space to use

or make storage accessible from all moghouses, however that doesnt solve the lag issue as the idea above

Sure, I could "just" do that. But why do I have to? It's also more than that; using the mog locker/safe is still way faster in Windurst than Whitegate, and when I have to shift around all the gear to change from NIN to BRD...well, the lag is pretty annoying. Or I'm trying to get somewhere in a timely manner, but I have to use my dbox, and I keep getting "communications seem to be congested". Or...right now, the stuff I'm doing has me using Windurst more often than Whitegate. But I can't really make that the default, because there's the possibility I'll get "stuck" between RL stuff, timing, random happenings, and the inadequate means available of reaching ToAU areas from anywhere else.

Plus...if storage were more convenient to access, I'd buy more mannequins (I have 3). Gosh, there goes more gil out of the economy! Maybe some other people would do that also. That's good, right SE?

The other thing is that I can't think of a reason why they shouldn't do it. It's certainly not some mind-boggling new concept that would be particularly difficult to add. I'm not sure why being about to get to Whitegate quickly from the 3 starter cities would be bad in any way. Surely it's at least as easy as the dozen crappy items they add each major patch that nobody ever uses? Let's cut that down to 5 crappy items, and give us some travel options. Even if you don't see why this is such a big deal, would you use it more often than most of those items?

Would BLU do well with Perdu Hanger / Perdu Wand? The wand is 10.83 dps and gives the +5Acc and +15Attk that would stack with the hanger.

lolclub aside, BLU can support that setup pretty well I'd say.

It's possible I'm not sure I would use it though. I definately wouldn't use the combo on Imps because Demon slayer is just too sexy. I do see some BLUs using Flan Smasher so I think the Perdu Sword/Club could work, the drop off in skill would hurt melee but the +Acc would be nice for Spells.

Off hand weapon is mainly for stats on BLU and most jobs, imo. So choose from Demon Killer, +3 STR or +5 Acc.

Well, a bit of an update.

We've tried using it everywhere but Salvage, and nothing extraordinary has happened. We're going to sit on it until the June update... hopefully more will be revealed at that point in time.

The perdu wand is nice, however, that is a huge drop off in skill. Assuming you have a suppa, sword merits, and no club merits, sword would be 50 skill higher than club. Would it ever be worth it to lose 35 atk 40ish acc in offhand to gain 5 acc in mainhand and for spells? I don't think so. It would maybe be ok to offhand against skeletons, but I would still stick to sword mainhand for spell accuracy.

Yea, it's really weird... the delay, shape and sound effect assigned to it match with longsword. However, all its previous stages are shortswords and you trade 3 shortswords to make it.

Every other relic is completely consistant with regards to weapon sub-type.

Well, I don't normally rely on my melee attacks for my damage output so I don't think it's that a big a deal. As I said though, it's all about what you want more from your offhand. +5 Acc, +3 STR, or Demon Killer. The +35Atk would boost your Savage or Vorpals too if you even use those. BLU damage comes from spells so you should use whatever you got that boosts them.

Uhm when? If you have an offhand you are subbing nin, and if you are subbing nin, you are probably relying on your melee damage. Do you parse? While in merit parties or limbus, sword DoT and WS make up about 60% of my damage.

You reaaaally should'nt scrapping for accuracy while playing blu thou, even without homam. With native accuracy bonus trait, +5acc in ear slot that other jobs don't have, +5 acc from perdu hanger, and sushi, there is absolutely no reason to take a huge shit on your melee damage just to gain 5 acc on spells(while losing 2-3dex or 3 str for spells in the process). You're only gaining 4 acc over a demon slayer, or 2 acc over one of those musketeer falchions if you really wanted acc.

Like I said, it maybe ok on skeletons, or if you want to use it on that floor of limbus with slashing immunity, but you're a retard if you bring it to much of anything else.

Manage MP better? If you constantly use your MP at the rate it refreshes, how can you manage it any better? You have more skill when you hit that disseverment macro? Your conserve MP kicks in more often than everyone elses? Spam ethers between spells? Give me a break. If your melee damage isn't up to par, your gear sucks, end of story.

This is a joke right? Shiva's Shotel is so fkn broken for BLU it's not even funny. The delay means nothing, especially considering that any endgame BLU's melee gear should include Triple and Double attack and if you're not out-TPing your own Chain Affinity timer anyway you should probably be looking into a different color mage class.
